Water cooling Supplies in Canada

Using mods like that tend to reduce pressure though don't they?

Also, there are actually quite a few cases that allow for 120.2/1120.3 rads without mods... you even listed a few above in your post :P

If I can find a thermochill for a decent price, I might look into it. I'm on a bit of a restrictive budget, so odd's are that I'm stuck with a HW GTX.

Edit:

Actually, I just found a way to squeeze a Thermochil PA120 into my budget. Looks like it's all good.

Look, just because the PA120.1 is more expensive, doesn't mean it will work wonders. ANY 120.1 size rad will do a pretty damn pathetic job.

K, What's my best option then?

I CANT mod my case right now, I don't have the tools to do it, so there's no way I can mount a 120.2 or 120.3 rad in this.

Right now, All I can get is a 120.1, and I probobally won't be getting a new case for at least 5 or 6 months.

I wan't my money's worth of cooling for what I can fit in this case. Will I see enough of a difference between the TC Pa 120.1 and the HW GTX 120.1?

(Also note that I'm trying to make this as quiet as possible)

In answer to your question David, you can utilise a 120.3 radiator. Simply mount the rad externally (at the rear) until you have saved up for a substantially larger case later on. The external mounting is good because it allows non-stale air to be fed by your fans, provided you don't position the rear of your PC up against a wall or in a corner.

In order to mount your radiator externally (depending on what radiator you choose in the end) you will need some of these. The mounts simply fit through the fan holes in the back panel of your case or if you would like to allow a little more distance between the rear of your PC and the radiator you can get some extensions or simply make them yourself. That's what I did.

Have a look here. If you'd like any additional help, feel free to give me a hoy anytime :)

Well, I decided to stick with the Thermochill Pa 120.1 for now anyways. Reason being, that if I'm gonna get a bigger rad, I might as well go all the way and get a 120.3. But right now I don't have the money for a 120.3.

So for now, a 120.1 should at least do the job well enough, then as soon as I have enough to pick up a 120.3, I'll get one + that bracket kit. (And maybe I'll sell my 120.1 on eBay or something :P)

Thanks for all the help, I appreciate it. Everything should be coming in within the next couple of days, so I'll post some pics of the setup :)
