Onboard sound on the way out?

Basically at random times it decides to really distort a song (although it happens more on some than others) also randomly makes a buzzing noise through speakers and even makes a really loud high pitched buzz cancelling out the game sounds while in some games such as flight simulator x and jedi knight 2 (it always happens at the same place)

seems a soundcard upgrade is the way to go, i was thinking creative x fi extreme music??

Having tried out a few alternatives I can deffo say that if you're a gamer...a Creative Sound Card really is the way to go.

I have ordered a Fatal1ty FPS edition and am looking forward to it I have to say
