Ubisoft Clarifies - No accounts with purchases will be deleted due to inactivity

Ubisoft will delete some Connect accounts if they remain inactive for too long.

I guessed it was something like this but as per usual before having all the important information the PC gaming publications, tech tubers and reviewers were ranting and raving.

We need to find out how long they consider reasonable.

I bought FC6 when it came out and played through it solo, as my partner in FC was dumb enough to let a woman talk him into selling his gaming PC.

I then did not touch the app until three days ago, when he got a new PC. My account had already been taken over. Good thing for 2FA really, got straight back in.

But, if you are only a fan of say, Far Cry, and one releases every few years is that too long?

We need to find out how long they consider reasonable.

As long as the account has a game on it that you either bought, redeemed or have it linked from another platform like Steam it is straight up a no go zone for Ubisoft regardless of time.

They haven't deleted anything below 4 years. Pretty reasonable to me. Not like they have a choice if they are following the law.
