n1 any help i can get is more than welcome im new to the forums overclocking and folding ive been making a stready climb up the ranks but for this flippin 460 keep failing its work both cards are at stock when the gtx does actually do a wu its hitting temps around the 65c mark where as the gtx 570 has been at a constant 70c for the last 24hrs so i dont think its a temp issue the clock speeds for the 460 are 800/1000/1600 n the 570 is 797/795/1594 could this be an issue? id love to do a full 24hrs @ 58kppd if this darn card would let me
tbh its only since i installed the new 570 i had two gtx 460's n it was fine ive put the other gtx 460 with a 260 in other setup n there fine its just this setup seems to fail if i can get them all doing as there told n behaving i can be doing 85k ppd which would be mint
just like to say this is an absolutly fantastic cause fold on folks
Also on a side note my 768MB DirectCU 460 only plays nice on the bottom I mean in PCI-E Slot 2
What does it do , lock up ?

if i delete the wu after its finished then start the client again it will do the wu no probs, one at a time but if i try to let it run constantly (460 only) it fails i think im going to take stevehat1's advice n put the two 460's together. n put the 260 with this 570 till i can afford to get another 570
i cant use the bottom pcie slot as the psu stops it fitting n i dont really want to reinstall win 7 either. thanks for the help dudes

before the fresh install it would hang/bsod after the fresh install it would crunch a few hours of wu's than freeze/bsod so for whatever reason in which I cannot get to the bottom of that ASUS card Needs to be in the second PCI-E slot in my P6X58D-E I do have to most recent BIOS 0504 or 0405 and i'm using 260.99 Drivers even rolling back to .89 made no change in the stability however as you can see both cards are banging out 10k and change with both clocked around 777 I want to go higher but I'll take Stability over a few extra ppd.
I'm still playing Telephone tag with MSI for my 470 in which I was supposed to have my RMA number emailed to me by the 23rd which has come and gone and now I'm getting more impatient by the day!

You could always try running 262.99 if you haven't already 262.99 64bit

nope doesnt help worth a try
at least i can get back folding on the other rig since all the kids gone home after xmas this will compansate for now till this big wu finishes n i can set it all back up from scratch

ive tried them on there respected drivers 260.99 for 460 n 263.09 for 570 still fails ive tried with n without advmethods, help me please before i rip what hair i have left out. ive just turned it off this 460 god dam thing
My i5 rig is getting hammered again with the great 67xx WU,
i'd rather have that 78xxP WU much better

AND WHAT HAPPENS THE wu JUST FAILS OR DOES YOU'RE RIG LOCK UP OR bsod'S ?

ok guys i seem to have sorted this 460 failing problem ( i hope )
its been running since last night with NO FAILS so far!!! ive uninstalled the evga pressision tool n expert tool from gainward n that seems to have done the trick
im now useing msi afterburner to control the cards fan speeds both cards are still at stock n folding away like good uns. back to happy folding dudes
