Those little annoying F@H things ..

Clocked my i7-920 @ 3.8GHz... temps on full load are

at avg 65c with 'bout 27-30c room temp.

Would have been first fail due to unstable CPU, but it

runs stable, so maybe the WU is bad...

Still @ 49%... maybe cleaning up work folder :-)

It is quite possible however if you are folding with a GPU Client have you adjusted your SMP to use 7 cores rather than 8?

Uhm... give me two seconds to check config........................

......time passing...........birds flying....................yeah!

Use specified number of CPU cores - 7.

But I don't know why^^

Deleting current WU in this very second... still at 49%

/edit:

Same project... 2684... hopefully it works :-)

ok I have now installed the Fah tracker and now my points are being added on where as before i wasn't getting as much, must of somehow not been registering to my account the past 2 weeks even though it said my username in the console

but all working now so should see some more ppd coming

Stuck again with 2684... currently hanging at 12%, nothing

since about 2 hours...

Maybe becaus I went to bigadv a few days ago?

Haven't completed a single bigadv, but loads of normal

WUs.

But something happens, because the CPU-load is at 100%.

With an unstable OC the core would kill itself and stop

working at all... strange...

Should I remove the bigadv-flag again?

Are you sure the cpu isn't throttling of down clocking it self? It would still show 100% load while down clocked. Proper settings on cpu set in bios?

after my reboot and swapping out my 470 for my Asus 460 I can't get both cards stable at stock clocks when I get home I'm going for a reinstall of the drivers and gpu tracker

From what I have read about the 6811 it is a an extremely difficult WU especially on the 450's and 460's. They supposedly run 7 to 10 C hotter than the 6800's. Most people run at stock or minimal OC when running them. 6811's thrive on the number of shaders available not so much on the frequency which is why they load the lesser cards so hard.

I do hope Stanford keeps them -advmethods, as a release to public would be a huge mistake IMO given the huge number of 450/460 cards running GPU3

yeah if they put them off the flag ill be stopping as these 6800's are pretty heavy as it is and if the 6811's hit it even more its definitely not worth risking the cards for it, ill try them at stock volts and clocks and check temps but if they are bad ill just stop

Bagger lost a SMP WU do to myself ones again
