True, but they're not quite the same. Watford? ;)

Yeah, even so, I can watch a converted dvd on it. Msn like a pc, cept no drag`n drop.. cos I got nothing to drag >.< and browseee... ok it aint IE7.

the only things demanding in kemps list are f@h (which only uses spare cycles neway) and photoshop when batching something really extreme, although i cant think of much to batch that your pc couldnt handle with ease.

my definition of hefty processes would be, a game, burning a dvd, encoding video/audio

most things people think of have been trivial to pc's from p3 onwards

Not just batching, take this

and use radial blur with 100, spin and best. Now that will keep your pc busy ;) (for like 30 - 60 seconds).

However I have noticed a difference when I went from single core to dual core, especially coming out of a big game like Oblivion

Really? Ive gained a fair bit from my 3200 @ 2.7 too my e4300 @ 3.1. A hell of a lot of frames in CS and the overall ability to use even more programs at once.

That may have been an illusion after been stuck on a 3ghz celleron with 256mb for a month though i spose...
