T1090+2x5870 watercooled

I've been considering it for a while but I think finally I am ready to try to watercool my system.

I have x6 T1090 on crosshair IV and 5870s in crossfire in ATCS 840 and my plan is to put all under water.

There are a lot of good informations about the parts on this website although since of lack of experience I am not sure what would be the proper way to approach my goal.

Should I go for a dual loop for this setup? (1st cpu+nb+sb; 2nd gpus)

What size of radiators would u suggest? I know I can fit 360 on top, any other suggestions for ATSC 840?

Thats the start I guess , I promise a work log when I finally get all the infos and parts:)

You dont really 'need' to water cool an amd mobo tbh they dont really get hot. A decent quality 360 in the roof with good fans will cope with the rest just about fine though.

Thanks a lot, than 360 in the roof it will be. I thought I would also since u mentioned AMd mobos dont get hot; what would be a expected NB temperature?

My T1090 is running at 4.0ghz (20x200 at 1.42v) with NB frequency of 3000MHz and CPU-NB at 1.35V. It is normally at about 50 degree celsiuses.

Crosshair 4 northbridge gets got (assuming that you've got the formula). If you are worried, take the asus heat sink off, remove the thermal goop they put in, and put some decent non conductive stuff down. My NB on an X3 is normally 50C with a fan pushing air on to it, 60+ without.

thank you very much Foxhound, I will be doing it this weekend since last weekend i was powdercoating my case. I will post results of course:).
