Switch 810 build

Looks absolutely crackin', carried the theme perfectly throughout.

Loving that GPU block with the blue LED.

That's pretty freaking awesome James, a rig to be proud of.

Looks epic mate Kudos.

Nice to see the forums really helping someone ;)

Looking good, guy! I really like that vid card set-up.

Thanks everyone, and Thanks again Tom for the prize :)

Temps aren't stunning - (CPU at 4.5ghz and GPU at 1085mhz)
Idle: CPU= 40-45 GPU=35
Unigine: Both max around 55-60
IBT got up to 80 however.

Having said that, the D5 is on the lowest speed, and every fan in the case is at 5v. Plus I've probably not bled it entirely, but I'm emptying it to take to uni either today or tomorrow, so it seemed a be pointless to run it upside-down and everything.

I may put in push/pull at some point. I've got enough space there - just - so I think extra fans would work quite well there.

love the look of the coolant and the gpu light, the loop is nice and tidy too congrats again hopefully ill be posting mine up by the end of next week :D

are you only running one rad james?
maybe slip another in there to help out, shouldnt cost much for a 240 and fittings

Love the updated rig and congrats on the front page article! This really gives me the itch to do a new build. Must...resist...until...haswell...

Thanks everyone, and cheers for the article ;)

I am yeah - but it's a 60mm 360, and temps aren't really an issue.
I hit about 60-65 under load on CPU, and a few degrees less on the GPU, and that's with every fan in the case at 5v, and the D5 at the lowest speed setting.

I'm contemplating adding a second GPU at some point, so I would do then, but temps aren't much of a concern atm.

Love this setup and congrats on the prize - I'm really pleased that it went to a deserving forum member!

That rad won't be having issues with your setup. Under gaming loads you are probably pushing 300-400W into the loop which will make the exhaust pretty warm though I'd imagine :D

What's it like living with your newly evolved beast?

Nice setup, the watercooling looks amazing :)

Nice rig James and kudos to you for handing back a prize you didn't need!!!

That GPU block looks ace, Finally a REAL Full cover block that doesnt leave the PCB all naked and exposed xDDD

Thanks everyone!

Yeah, the rad seems fine atm. Temps are all okay, and fans can't run slower, so I'd say it's easily enough.

It's nice to live with really :p
Bit of a hassle draining everything when I had to take it to uni, but fortunately I can just open one of the stop caps on the GPU with a jug underneath, and it all drains out very easily through there. Just like having a drain line that doesn't look stupid! But even so, it doesn't take long at all to bleed and refill so it's not much of a concern.

Just need to order some more fans at some point, as the stock NZXT ones were too loud for me, even at 5v, so I currently only have 2 intakes in the entire case.

Looks awesome dude. Congrats on completing your loop, the gpu blocks really do look awesome! Best of luck at uni.

Looking good, especially liking the whole colour scheme.

Quick question, is that the standard or the matte black finish on the case?

Thanks everyone.

Yes it is the matte black one. I wasn't sure if the standard ones had the cut outs in the drive bay 'shelf'. So I just spent a little more to make sure. I'm happy with the matte black anyway.

You've reminded me to upload more pictures though as I now have push/pull:
