strange message about IHCI IN ABIT AB9 PRO

today i saw a strange message that i never seen before..

its exactly before starting windows and after the POST

over the 6 month past i dont saw this message until today

body of message:

controler not set for operating in AHCI mode.

AHCI bios not installed.

i am sure the IHCI function is disabled by me in setup but its now show up.

i also flash the bios again because i guess mybe its corrupt but

the message after the flashing bios still exist. when i disable jbmicron into

setup its just disappear but i need the jbmicron for my BENQ DVD ROM IN IDE

MODE.

Have you tried clearing the CMOS? It may have become corrupted.

i had this problem with my DFI recently, it was a sign of instabiliy. try resetting the CMOS and then checking all your HDD, IDE and Boot settings while leaving all other settings as default

i did it and clear cmos by jumper behind the battery but its still what it did.

yeah

first i flashed it with 14 bios version

and check it for message and it was

then i flashed it with 15 bios and message appears again

So is this causing a problem? My BIOS comes up searching for drives before I boot

and i think it can be decrease my system speed or make serious problem for me

in feature
