~Stock of~ Thermaltake LC products

I saw them :)

But i mean/want the Turbine 2000 version (black with dark-blue leds)

But thanks for looking :wavey:

Yea I just noticed that when looking at the specifications, sorry, I edited my above post while you were writing that ^ :) those Xtreme fans will be very loud, the 35 odd decibels would be bad enough on their own but couple that that 80-something CFM whooshing through a radiator (per fan) and youre going to want to have loud music on 24/7. One of my favorite points about liquid cooling is you can have it really quiet and still out perform air ;)

I think i just get those fans in The Netherlands :)

But am i with this: done or do i still need to add something?

-===-

Three other questions:

  • Which one is better in quiet/performance?
Swiftech MCP350 12v Pump

Swiftech MCP655 Pump

  • Does SpecialTech also supply other colors from the Black Ice Stealth serie?

I want the chrome version, since i think it looks mutch nicer on my silver case ^^

  • Which Radiator is better?
Is the Stealth or the Xtreme better?

Difference is only £2,- (240mm) or £3,- (360mm).

You may want to either drop the northbridge water block or upgrade everything to 1/2" and get the MCP655. Depends on budget

I edited my last post on page 2 :yumyum:

So the MCP655 Pump is better? Because you said 'Depends on budget' .. but the MCP350 cost more. :rolleyes:

--===--

And why should i drop the NB block?

The product information say:
Contents of the kit

- Waterblock MCW30

- Nylon Fittings: 1/4'' NPSM to 3/8'', 1/2'' or 1/4'' barbs

I meant whether you upgrade the lot to 1/2" or just drop the NB block depends on budget, as dropping the NB block would be cheaper.

With 3/8ths tubing i would get rid of the NB block because it is:

A: worsening the water volume to heat ratio throughout the system

B: reducing flow and therefore efficiency

C: putting more strain on your pump when coupled with fairly narrow tubing.

So for maximum cooling on cpu + gpu you could drop the NB block AND upgrade everything to 1/2" but that is totally at your discretion

Ok, i think i go for 1/2" than

So i need to change to:

Alphacool Hose Barb 1/4" thread to 1/2"

Alphacool 1/2" Tubing 1/2" Tubes

Swiftech MCP655 12v Pump

-=====-

How long is the Tubing from Alphacool .. And do i need a set of 2 to connect everything? :rolleyes:

-=====-

Which Radiator is better?

Is the Black Ice Stealth or the Xtreme?

Difference is only £2,- (240mm) or £3,- (360mm).

Tubing is sold in 1M lengths, I would buy 3 to be safe. You will also need some method of clamping the tubes to the barbs. Jubilee Clips are my preferred method as you can do them up really tight.

you will need two barbs per block and two for your radiator. Also you will need some method of filling the loop, either a reservoir or a T-line. Res will need two barbs and a T-line depends on what type you get.

And i would go for the Xtreme radiators

Do you mean those Clips?

What are those Fittings/Barbs included with the blocks than?

- Waterblock MCW60

- Nylon Fittings: 1/4'' NPSM to 3/8'' or 1/2'' barbs

- Hold-down plate, any screws and bolts necessary

- Arctic Ceramique Thermal grease

What is better about it than the Stealth?

-=====-

And i think to add the Danger Den Fillport.. But what size of Fittings do i need to use? .. I can't find what is included and which size i need to 'convert' to 1/2"

yes those clips.

those barbs would be ..... well, barbs, use them if they're decent.

the Xtreme is thicker and so should have more surface area, which equates to better performance

I've changed two things, i think it's a better setup now :yumyum:

Black Ice GT Stealth .-. 360mm Radiator

Alphacool Installation brackets .-. For Black Ice Radiators

Alphacool Spacers .-. For Black Ice Radiators

Alphacool Plastic Funnel .-. Plastic Funnel

Alphacool Hose Barb .-. 1/4" thread to 1/2" 4x

Alphacool External bus bar .-. External bus bar 6x 3pin Molex

Alphacool 1/2" Tubing .-. 1/2" Tubes 2x

Alphacool T-piece .-. T-connection, 1/4"

Alphacool Flow indicator .-. For 6-11mm, Blue

D-tek FuZion .-. CPU Waterblock

Swiftech MCP655 .-. 12v Pump

Swiftech MCW60 .-. VGA Water Block

Swiftech MC14 .-. VGA Ramsink Heatsinks

Swiftech MCRES .-. Micro Reservoir

Swiftech SmartCoils 500 .-. 40" UV Ocean Blue, for 1/2" tube 2x

Aerocool Turbine 2000 .-. 120mm fan, 16 blades, blue led 3x

Aerocool Turbine 1000 .-. 120mm fan, White led

Alphacool Tec-Protect .-. Clear 0.5 Litre - Fluid 3x

Deleted the Northbridge block, as the MSI has already an nice NB block.

Changed the Apogee GT Extreme for the D-tek FuZion.

Added the Swiftech Micro Reservoir and the Alphacool Flow Indicator.

-=-------------=-

And another bunch of questions: :wiggle:

- Is this, with the changes, a good setup?

- Can the Alphacool Flow Indicator handle the pressure and the flow?

- Do i need to add something?

All looks pretty decent mate. That Fuzion should do ya good :)

Not sure about the alphacool flow indicator, have a feeling it may be restricive with 1/2" tubing. A visible res with coloured water is usually just as good an indicator that everything's hunky-dory

Do you have anything to clip the hose to the barbs? Like Jubilee clips?

Ah ok :)

I change the Clear water for colored :yumyum:

..

And i knew i forgot something :bornleet:

How many do i need of those? and are they sold separately? Because the title/description says 'Hose clips'

I have:

CPU Block

VGA Block

Radiator

Pump

Reservoir

So i need 2 for every block/item? :eh:

I was thinking about something like

naamloostm4.jpg

:P

And where do i need to plug in the ThermoSensor, 2PIN connection? What is it named on the motherboard?

Like this:

naamloosuo6.jpg

Tank -> Pump -> Radiator -> CPU -> VGA

..

But where is the best place for the Temprature-sensor?

A- Between CPU and VGA

B- Before the Radiator

- Somewhere else

??:noobsign:

Just that T-type Sensor:

Alphacool Thermosensor In-Line 8mm Plug-In w. 1/4" male thread T (17511)

That one, with two 1/4" -> 1/2" Barbs
