~Stock of~ Thermaltake LC products

hmm, as far as i know Tt has quite some quality products overall.. don't know about the watercooling..

List what i buy:

Thermaltake Aqua TMG-1

Thermaltake Aquabay M5

Thermaltake Volcano 4005

Thermaltake Aqua Brazing W3

Thermaltake Aqua RX-R1

Thermaltake Flow TX

Thermaltake Liquid Flood

Thermaltake Watertube

And a Innovatek VGA waterblock i think (Or DD)

..

I want the Volcano 4005 and the TMG-1 Radiator for sure..

The Volcano 4005 because i had the BigTyp120 and that is an awesome cooler by looks and performance.

The TMG-1 also because it is looking nice IMO (with a better fan on it.) and it's made to put on the back of my Armor ^^

..

For the rest,, can you advice some better products In that price range.. That fits the tubes of Thermaltake?

I would have to say you have been mislead, thermaltake have 3 or 4 decent products, the rest can only be classed as dangerous to your pc. I would go for largely alphacool parts as they are the best value for money and are far better quality than any TT watercooling parts.

hmm, i can count already 10 good products, that i had/have myself..

Ok, so what are the best quality/price products of Alphacool than, for:

Pump

VGA Block

Northbridge block

Temperature probe

..Where 3/8" tubes fit on?

Well, take a look at this

Yeah ok, but that is the 745.. I already knew it was rubbish.. I was planning to buy the new TMG radiator, the new M5 pump set and the new Vulcano CPU block.. not the old stuff from Tt that is in the 735 / 745.

But it's not that I say it's the best on the market, it's far from.. i just want an basic LCS for around €250,- (/£170,- /$330,-), with everything on it.

I already know I don't get Danger Den quality, as example, i just need a simple LCS set with everything on it (Radiator, Pump, CPU/VGA/NB block, Temp probe / Flow indicator ..j/k).

Those four products that you mentioned are already around the £100,-

..Than I need a Radiator, CPU Block, VGA Memory block, Temp Probe, Flow indicator etc. up the £100,-...

I don't want to spend more than €250 on it,, maybe €300 .. but not that mutch higher

Hmm, maybe handy to post the specs, what he needs to cool?

=-=-=-=

Around June he needs to cool:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600

something like the X1950XT ..Or,,suggestions? (around €240)

Besides that, i know the Volcano 4008 is just the Copper W1 block with an big fan on it .. but I liked the Tt Big Typhoon very mutch and this is just the LC version of it, am i right?.

And about the Radiator,, which Radiator can fit on the back of the Armor? (photo of back) ..or can just any radiator fit there?

Tbh if your not willing to put the cash in to do water properly you may as well save yourself a lot of money and get high end air cooling. It'll perfrom on-par if not better than low end watercooling and be more than equal in noise levels.

hmm, for me, the €300,- is a lot of money

And about Swiftech? I see some rigs here and there on the 'Rig Page' that used Swiftech blocks.

Swiftech Apogee GT Extreme Performance CPU Waterblock

Swiftech MCW30 Northbridge Waterblock

Swiftech MCW60 VGA Water Block

Swiftech MC14 VGA Ramsink Cooler

Swiftech MCP350 12v Pump

Radiator: Those Black Ice where also good, right? ..At least, that is what I heard.

Black Ice GT Stealth I 120mm Radiator

Black Ice Xtreme 120mm Radiator

And what fittings do i need for this.. to use with the tubes the Swiftech uses?

--------=--------------------------------------------=--------

I come at £173,17.. And if i'm right i have all the important things.. except:

Reservoir.. That isn't necessary..is it?

..And need to add tubes and fluid with that..(And fittings?)

--------=--------------------------------------------=--------

How mutch better than Thermaltake is this?..

You're going to need a double / tripple (240/360mm) radiator to get any performance improvement over air cooling

All Swiftec's products are very good. They would do you fine.

As for the rad you will need at least a 240mm or the loop will just get hotter and hotter as a 120mm can't extract enough heat from the water. And the BlackIce are good yes.

You can use a t-line rather than a rez, a T-connector only costs about £3 or somthing.

About the Black Ice:

Is the Stealth or the Xtreme better?

Difference is only £2,- (240mm) or £3,- (360mm).

And are the fittings included by the 240/360mm? I don't see it in the text, but the 120mm doesn't have them incl.

Now standard G 1/4" female threaded fittings. (fittings not included).

So i also need an thread from 1/4" to 3/8" for the tubes?

Do i need this one: or this one:

--------------

About the Swiftech CPU Block:

Do i need the Swiftech Apogee GT block .. or does the Swiftech Apogee just do fine..

I have that Conroe in June and i'm not planning to overclock much .. (or none) .. maybe later, but let's say i keep it on stock, will the 'standard' version do fine?

--------------

And i guess there aren't 'cases' to put the 240mm on the back of my case? :yumyum:

Edit I guess it is possible to put an 360mm on this, but can this thing hold that? :P

Well the first adaptor looks better as it has more V shaped bits and so would seal better.

The adaptors should be able to hold a 360, yes :)

Ok, thank you very mutch for the help! :yumyum:

And':

Is it better to put the Radiator

ALC-14539.jpg
Horizontal on the top of my case

ALC-14540.jpg
Vertical on the back of my case

Or doesn't it matter at all?

---=========---

And which Fans are recommend? I thought about the Aerocool Turbine fans (1000 or 2000) or the Aerocool Silver Lightning because they look so damn awesome _o_

Or am i, with Aerocool, also on the wrong end :p

just to let you know the score on Tt....

There is only 1 official Tt distributor in the UK, buy from outside this channel and you can be struck off t's list as a supplier/reseller.

Problems arise with only 1 disty, there's only ever 1 lot of stock coming to the UK every 6 to 8 weeks to supply all the Ttretailers in the UK, this is why there can be stocking issues especially with new products as they get snapped up quickly.

We however have forecasts and a damn good Tt account manager so we normally get all the best / new products guaranteed.

Now back on witht he subject..some good suggestions going on here :D
