Spotty G15 keys

Has anyone here experienced the black paint coming off the keys of their G15 at all? So far I've noticed the A,S,D,E,O and SHIFT keys on mine are getting quite bad. I may have to send back for a replacement methinks. I'll post a pic shortly

Do you have the version of the G15 where the lcd screen is like blueish in colour? If so, you have the first version and all you have to do is get in touch with logitech, they will ask you for some number on the bottom of your keyboard and then they will tell you to destroy it which you just say you will and they will send you the new version with the white lcd screen for free and you can just keep the other one for someone else lol. Hope this helps

hey, i have the old version, i wanna get the new one and say ill kill the old one or w/e and sell it. where do i contact them for this specific thing? I wan;t to do this before my keys start losing all their paint on me !

I would imagine you could find the appropriate contact info @ www.logitech.com ;) hehe

I had the first revision but never had a problem with my board losing any paint.

i did i called them, the guy wanted me to send it in, pay for shipping and wait for them to inspect it then send me a new one. why did i get this go-round when all the other peoplke just got a free one in the mail if they agreed to "destroy" thiers. AKA sell/give it away

yeah, i thought so too, but then i saw a forum where people have been doing this lately and sucessfully. maybe i just got the wrong type of person, ill try on email and on phone later again to see if i can get a less "experienced" person, although i may add that the person i talked to didnt seem to intelligent, and knowledgable, what gives?

Yeah maybe try again, this time turn on some of the rage saying that you paid $xx fr a keyboard that is cr@p and you dont see why you should lay out any more $$ for getting a replacement..yadda yadda

LOL yea, i will try that :)

Just scream in their ear going on about how you can't possibly be without a keyboard for the amount of time required for the replacement. They won't argue with that.
