This is my rig i'm calling The ZEF for now. At this point it as all gifted to me. Big thanks to Brian for the case and components, and thanks to Wes for the disk drive so i could put programs on her.

This is the cable management i did tonight it was a jumble of wires that i did my best to beat with what i had.

Sorry for the picture quality it's from my phone

Components are as follows.

MoBo: Asus M4A89GTD Pro/USB3

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 @ 3.4Ghz

GPU: Sapphire HD6950 OC Edition (The first pictures are with the original 4650)

HDD: Seagate 750GB @ 7200 RPM

I know it's not much but it's what I've got.

no offence, but most people admire the top-notch builds and not modding skills, as they should

I have done few mods in the past ,all of it on cheap cases with old hw

Updates to The ZEF. I cut in some cable routing holes so i could hide all my wires a bit better. and make a couple things reach a little easier. Hope you all like it!

This is the cleanest i think the rig can look with current case and parts.

Well this is the current state. Parts list is in the first post.

What do you guys think? Any advice or input on being able to make a cleaner look, or on anything else?

nice bit of work. shows you don't need high end kit to produce nice work.

what else have you got planned

Thanks to everybody looking and saying what they think.

Now as far as what i plan to do in this rig. I need a few case fans as there is currently only one, and that one is almost useless. So placing fans in both pre-drilled spots plus and modding one into the top and another into the three empty drive bays. I will be putting an H80 CPU cooler in to replace the stock one. I can't decide on putting it in the top or in the back yet but it will come together somehow. I tried and tried to work in an H100 but without making everything extremely tight or cutting off pieces i'd like to have it just won't fit. I will be replacing the side window with a clear one minus all the grills and stuff. I plan to eventually crossfire the 6950 just to give it that edge on most games. I also need to paint the case, I can't decide what color or colors to go with but that gray inside is painful for me to look at for much longer. so any ideas on colors everybody? I'm open to suggestions.

colour is very personal choice, but a few options

black inside and out. simple and classic

white outside and black inside. or flip to the opposite

black inside and bold colour outside. like yellow or orange

look at some custom car colous for inspiration, or other builds maybe.

also thinking olive drab and and cammo might be big this year

most important thing is to paint it how you want it and to give a lot of thought first

I have pretty much decided on a black chassis with the cover panels being something else. The military look would be good but i'm not much for shooters so it wouldn't fit very well. I have considered maybe a vinyl coating of some artwork or another i know that custom vinyls are getting cheaper and easier to do these days. If anyone has some good ideas keep shooting them my way. I should have some changes done soon to show everyone. I'm not happy leaving it together and the same for very long, hahahaha.
