Right..

yeh.. Well i think ill go for them .. Im sure ill find away to position them.. Are the wires long enough?

And i didnt think about this before.. but these will be fine with on board sounds wont they? ill get a sound eventually.. just a matter of when.. Which sound card would be a good buy, that'll work with vista and cost aound £0-£100

Leads with my DTT were about 3m I think, longer on rear I believe, and the connection dins with controller we nice`n long too. Tbh tho, if the speakers use a pinching grip socket - u can extend them easy. Whichever way, they`re extendable really.

Onboard sound is what it is. An Xfi card will always make sound richer, imo. More spacial too if its 5.1 +

As for Vista.. dunno, hit and miss perhaps. There are brand new cards tho that say they`re compatible.

Face them so that the paths of the sound cross just in front of your face when your sitting listening. Either that or facing the walls so the sound bounces off them and it feels like your immersed in the sound. That's why the seperates sets have rears with 2 "faces" to give nice sound direction.

Ah right, cool. Im sure it'll all fit fine. Ill just have to add a cushion to the door to stop it battering the sub lol.. :)

Should make gaming alot more fun :)

Okay, so i ordered the speakers, then i set about finding a place for the hugeee sub.. i finally moved my desk to left to give it the 2Ft gap it requires.

Getting these things up will require some effort.. screwing rear channel speakers into my bed etc.. Will be well worth it in the end imo.

Yea that looks like it will be good.

Your computer is underneath ur bed? So ur on the top bunk? thats pretty sick

Yeh im under my bed lol.. its ok, gets anoying when i stand and wack my head mind.. ive had a few lumps.. But means i have more floor space.. which is good.
