Ouch!?I know I couldn't live with that, it'd be back to primer and respray.
I was initially very upset with the fact my tape line bled in spots and peeled away in others, but TBH I kind of like the jagged looks and think I'm going to keep it.

Aye I agree, I'd flat it back and re primer it then lay fresh paint.. we have plenty of time left almost 6 whole weeks.nah mate, as much as I'm one of those guys saying "but I can live with it" (just see the paintjob on my build) you are representing OC3D in front of fractal and the whole world, I'd redo it, no matter how much it hurts...
Ah, I've been staring at it for a bit now and you are all right...I cannot live with it because it does look like smack. Headed out to get more base coat and going to get to sanding tomorrow once the paint is properly dried.
Id scrap the idea about the stripe on the vents btw - there is no way youll have the patience to mask that out properly.
If anything maybe look at painting the vented area blue?
That's actually a pretty good idea, painting the vented area all blue. would act as a stripe in it's self.
save yourself some sanding too![]()

Not the whole front. Just the side vents. There is even a ledge he could use as a masking line
Solid plan. After sanding for what seemed like hours I couldn't even thoroughly sand the vents due to space. Plus that was one of the bleed through spots.
You don't think that would look off at all with the striping?
Youre going to have to mock it up or rely on your minds eye
Youve got the chance to total redesign now you have to repaint.
