Really Slow Performace After un-OC'ing

Hi Guy's,

So basicly when I first got this rig, I was lazy and used the Deluxe's "turbo" mode, so it automaticly OC's to 4.3ghz. After a few month's, since i managed to get my C2 duo much faster than stock speeds, I decided to go manual and OC to 4.5 myself, following a guide by bit-tech see here http://www.bit-tech....core-i5-2500k/3 . Now, after following all the steps, and rebooting, I found that over the next few weeks, my PC would just restart with no warning, just boom, black screen fans spin down, then back up 30 secs later, it did this many many times over about 3/4 weeks,

So i then, I was pretty pissed off so I decided to reset my BIOS and just stick to turbo mode, but since then, my PC has drastically slowed down, slower than when it was at 4.3 last time

, textures are incredibully slow to load, same with programs and just general use, its really strange.

Has anyone got any ideas of why this may be?

Try clearing your registry errors, the crashes could have caused a couple of errors that are now slowing down your computer. Defragment your hard drives, random crashes can cause lots of a data corruption. If worse comes to worse you may need to use system restore or reinstall Windows.
