Random playlist (generator ?)

Do any of these scumbag music players have a feature where they`ll create a random playlist for you ?

I don`t mean where you can select 50billion music folders and click randomize, I mean you can tell it; here`s my library, I want 50 tracks selected at random and output a playlist.

party shuffle will do it

or if you creat ea new smart playlist, and select it to just be random in every way, that will also work.

Amarok can do it, but that isn't of much use to you probably.

Most media players have shuffle, set this and as you say it will just randomly select a song.

erm, I`m not sure if u`r getting what I mean >.<

I`d like the prog to output an actual playlist as a file, kinda do the whole selecting files from the library for me, just ask how many. -- or present me with a list and I can save it.

itunes is a ~nice~ prog, cept I break out in a rash when I use it. Might check it out just for this.

I prefer WMP, but I'm not sure if it makes a random playlist file. It DOES have auto-generated playlists though. For example, my library is too big to fit on my Zen Micro so I have it just sync the 4 & 5 star rated songs. WMP automatically rates songs for you based on play frequency, etc.

Amarok is only for Linux right now therefore why I said it probably isn't of any use to you.
