i dont belive in lapping my cpu i would rather have my warrenty lool

will lapping my WC CPU BLOCK make a difference when i get it?

loool we are stuck in the same boat mate we both have high temps just trying to figure out why they are so high

Sorry i mean its still on air but thinking about lapping my HS or Water Block once i put it on as its a lil scratched

a good tip is also rub the AS5 into the heatsink (as in forcibly rub it in, so it fills any crevices), then apply it properly - might lower temps a bit.

as for mine......i think i might have to live without ocing it until i have the opportunity to take the CPU block apart and double check everything i've done.

Why cant you take it off any time soon?

i say try re-applying your thermal compound as well see if it helps

purely because i've got alot of college and business work on atm.

So when I get my new grfx cards (when i can afford em) i'll be redoing alot of the system anyways, so I can look at everything and make sure everything is 110%.
