9900k - High Temps all of a sudden !

That's because you weren't around to remember when Corsair REALLY was the king of PC. They did so much. Every product was top notch quality, innovative. Known mostly for cases but whenever they entered another market they did amazing. Since the take over it's gone downhill. So no it's not my opinion. It's fact. They've nothing since then and gotten worse. Only good stuff now is memory (because they put a sticker on it), and PSU(they put a sticker on it). That's about it. Both of which are designs we've worked on for decades. It shouldn't be difficult.
I don't bother helping you because you're answers are a 10 second Google search away. Besides that I'm not active much anymore. I get on for Marks news updates then get off. Couldn't help you because I wouldn't notice

This is a load of bunk. Corsair was going downhill LONG before that take over. It's just that this forum is filled with Corsair fan boys in serious denial. They were never the "king of PC" as you put it. They haven't innovated anything in decades.

Eh, Corsair's cheap PSU lines have never been amazing.

Actually yes, at one point they were. You could buy a 450w PSU for about £35 and it would be made by Seasonic and capable of 100w more than labelled. We then went to their dismal range, which could barely output the 450w stated.

I always wondered why TTL never takes the PSU's over their limit in his PSU testing, to see how really far they can go. Would be interesting to see..... Hint Hint @TTL

I concur with Corsair's decline. Years ago I was a devout follower of Corsair RAM and PSUs since they never, ever failed on me. But in the past couple of years, I've already had my H100i GTX fail, my partner's CX550M fail, my partner's Vengeance LPX failed, and the general contempt they have their fanbase is incredible. The quality of their products has had a steady decline while prices have stayed the same, if not increased!
I'm washing my hands of them now, not buying a Corsair component anytime soon.

Disagree all you want, its the reason they are still held in such high regard. There reputation is the only thing keeping them afloat at this point. This forum is full of 0 fanboys of your description with corsair.

They made up for it later with a 750 that was really a 650....balance and all that :D

I dont believe we had any Corsair fans except Dice, but he changes his loyalty as much as the weather changes each season.

I wouldnt say all their products are bad. I am still rocking the Strafe ver1 keyboard after all this time. Yet others going for the premium K95 RGB etc have problems with each released version.

So their lower end stuff does have some merits. Overall though, I saw their quality decline from the days of the Corsair 900D onwards. It seems that they simply reached a pinnacle and their way forward was to continue producing the same catalogue with minor variations, but also cut the costs of these products.

I think you nailed it with the bolded part. The 900D was supposed to be a great case, and had a LOT of people looking forward to it, myself included. But then it landed, and it was very expensive and also very cheaply made. I think the decline started there, as you indicated.

I'm still rocking that overpriced keyboard too, LOL!

Cant beleive it, to put the cherry right on top of the cake two fan headers have failed on my commander pro. This is the third unit ! !

I have two ML140mm on fan header 1 & 2, fan 2 is not detected and not spinning and fan 1 is showing 11000rpm, lol, I think my case would take of at that speed, in reality its doing about 800rpm. Short fix is to put the fans on header 3 & 4 and I confirm they are working well !

Well in all fairness though, their software sucks b@lls... The worst software I know. That’s the one thing I don’t like about Corsair products, their software programs literally sucks.
