I have the spectres, they are brilliant, very quiet and push a lot of air, just for the love of god stay away from the 230mm version!!!!! It sounds like there is a Chinook helicopter taking off in my case

Glad to hear they are nice, they are quite a bit cheaper than the noiseblockers and saving a few £ where I can is always appreciated!

Speaking of 230 mm fans I was pretty stunned by the ones in my HAF-X i assumed they would be generic crap but they are very quiet.

Nice update. The paintjob, coloure choise and 120mm cut out looks great. You decided for a combination with black/yellow right?

The yellow is going to be really understated, just on bits I want to highlight. That yellow you can see is just the colour of the primer. Going over that with gloss black after ive flatted it down. That cut out took forever! so much filing and 2 broken drill bits

Oh i thought the primer were grey. For cutting out holes, i know of a nice method using dremmel. Mnpctech have a youtube video of it if you are interested.

I had to prime it twice, the acid etch just gives it something to stick to, the yellow one is filler primer so it will even out all the little scratches and dents. I will get some more pics up after ive done some sanding.

Just bear in mind that 90% of this is going to be black. The yellow will be used in limited amounts. I couldnt live with something that bright allover

Great metal work. Lovely colour's too although i'm not sure about the dirty yellow, I'm more into neat looking builds but we will see how it turns out.
