Hello Hello my favorite OC3D family!
It has been to long since an update and since I could have done anything myself, It's itching in my fingers to start again!
First and foremost I want to give a HUGE shoutout to
Dm Finearts, for airbrushing this project. He is so talented!
Make sure to check out his market on his site to be able to get hold of some artwork of his.
Now that I have got the chassi back I can start to work on the inside and thereafter complete this project!
No worries, I won't just slam the hardware in the to get it working. Big NONO! Hopefully I can make the Inside look as beutiful as the outside of this case!
So here we go with a bunch of pictures, now remember I am not a proffesional photographer and can't nearly make justice of how badass it looks in person!!
I just want to hug it it's so majestic and beutiful!!
Was shocked to say at least^^ The package was huge!
Looks like I got a compressor, yes please!
Though there was something else inside...
..this for example, good trade for the compressor I'd say!
Extremly happy over the result!
Note that I will respray all the rings on the SP-120 and AF-140 fans to fit the theme better.
In the background you can see some test fitting of some hardware.
Please help me!
Now I would like some thought on what you think looks best?
#F1 or
#F2?
#F1
#F2
I have also run in to some problems with the pump, I thought I could fit it next to the 240mm radiator in the bottom compartment but it's clearly not going to happen since I underestimated the width of the rad with fans and the pump together.
What do you suggest I should do?
Remove a set of fans and run with push or pull and install the pump as intended?
Another option is to remove 4 HDD brackets and place the pump in there, the problem with that is that the pump location is higher then the bottom of the resevoir, will that be a problem ? Also since I planned doing an all out crystal link loop (I know I'm crazy) it will be hard to connect them 2 together, will probably require to use the dremel some in the HDD bay.
The other thing I can think of is finding another (smaller pump) that will fit, what I am afraid of then is that it won't be powerfull enough to have good circulation trough the narrow loop?
Any other suggestions, please tell me!
So what's going to happen now? Will continue to test mount back and forth to see how I want to design the inside, waiting for a retailer to get some crystal link fittings in stock so I can order them
So nice to be back on track again!
Please leave feedback!
Regards Johnny
