I ordered white led fans and this what i got :L They do look nice in person so im just going to use them anyway. I will carbon the inside of the case, put metal mesh on the front of the case and get all the hardware fitted and that will be my pc until my birthday when i start my other project. More updates soon...

I'm going to be honest mate; I reaaally don't like the looks of that thing xD
Maybe it's just the multi-LED fans.... *shivers* ew

The red carbon looks okay though :)

Made the front:

Also i will probably be sanding the black/silver plastic so it is all silver.

Also also also i will be taking pictures with my big camera when its done :D

I know, I'm not blaming him though! He does a nice job, but I've always hated mutli-coloured fans ._.

Im not a big "fan" of them either, i just cant be bothered waiting 2 months to get different fans. My dad is getting it anyway so it doesnt matter if it looks like a Ferrari with a Christmas tree inside it... :p

I tried painting the front before and the paint would just run. Before that it was all silver and i liked the look of it. Plain clear fans probably would look better tbh. Thanks for the feedback :p

Not gonna lie, I about died laughing when I saw the massive wad of cables in the top x-). I know it's a work in progress though so I don't even really count that as being part of any sort of completed step. I know how difficult it is to manage cables in a case that has no routing behind the mobo tray... Try a Cooler Master Elite 334 nVidia Edition case... now THERE'S a nightmare-and-a-half. Keep up the build, looking forward to seeing more progress! Also, and this is just my opinion, I kinda like the multi-colored fans. It lends itself more to the ridiculousness of what the case started out as and what it is gradually evolving into.

I blame the psu for the messy cables, i have had it for 4 years and it has never disappointed me performance wise. I dont think i am going to do anything more to the insides. I think im going to leave the front how it is too as it looks unique imo. I will probably end up doing something else to it though, just dont exactly know what that something is yet. :P

i love the carbon, but defiantly some work needed. great job!

Thanks :D

Doing some work on it just now, i would say its done tbh. I just need to install an O/S which is where i need help. Should i go with Windows Vista, Zorin OS or Ubuntu? My little brother will be getting it so i was thinking zorin as steam is on linux and it is immune to windows virus'es and it is free and looks like windows. Ubuntu has good compatability and vista is windows. Im thinking zorin though. The finished pictures will be up when i get batteries for my camera.

Failed-white led fans or just clear fans would look much better
That's not a fail dude... There's something called "personal preference". I know they aren't the fans he ordered, but he still chose to use them, it's his build (log) after all. And don't forget it's for his little brother. Kids love things like that.
