the cap is if you cant aford a psu with 8 pins i believe, but if you can/have, go for it.

Im done putting things together, just waiting on the CPU , did as much as i can with both pcs atm. think ill sleep till next week

Best of luck with your quad... Be interesting to see what prime stable OC you get from yours.

Mine was a measly 3.5ghz at quite high volts (1.51v) on the commando, could bench at 3.7 or 3.8 irrc

Well considering i have never OC'd and iv got alot of school work coming up this week. might be awhile =/.. but ill try

Set it up today, and set up a temp cooling system (borrowing the ultra extreme)

I should be able to play about with overclocking set up like that right? ( not exsactly long term cooling but just to be safe )

I'm trying to decide if i should just pick up my own ultra, and get some NB, SB, Crosslink (can u disable this so its not used?) and spend the rest on stepping up my GTS to a GTX/Ultra.(or 9800 if its out by november the 26th)

Main question is, Do you guys think its worth spending the cash on Watercooling, tbh anything over 3Ghz id be happy with (stable 24/7), or just get a NB/SB/Xlink coolers and use the money to upgrade Graphics? I can't decide
