Unsure mate MrBios got a great deal on this unit but I wont say what the deal was that is between him and I reason being is each unit costs a differant amount due to the works involved on my part so???? and how well the other person bargains loool

He's getting a "special" unit that is controlled by a thermostat - so condensation shouldnt be an issue.

Im dusting down the fatty chiller ready for my 2X7800's next week

It is a single switch 16amp jobbie 240v all you do is set the desired temp between -50 and 160 loooool nice little unit

If you set it for like 10 degrees C it will switch off at that then switch back on at like 12 degrees C a 2 degree differential doesn't seem that big but when you are looking at around a 2 ltr water loop it shouldn't short cycle at all I will however test this next week

If you want a controller pm me I know where to get these ones and they seem ok

Thought I would tweek my nipples today

This is done with a R507 regas the temp display on the front is about 5 degrees C out so not too bad ( there is a - in front of that 16.5 lol )

Damn thats nice! What were the ambient temps like? Its been pretty hot here today and whats the load for those temps?

I think thats about guaranteed your win over my upcoming attempt, not that there was much doubt about the winner in my mind anyway

In your pics of the finished unit- you appear to have used what looks like spiral wrap insulation. Where can I buy some, and how much is it- I`m hoping I`ll hit at least sub-ambient with mine.
