pcworld - what a bunch of *****

Im not trying to defend PC world, but i do have some points. Well, first of all PC World doesnt want to employ anyone younger than 18 since the job (salesman or customer advisers, doesnt matter) includes handling very large amounts of money.

PS. not all staff is dumb like carrots in PC World, myself i dont think i could mix up socket A (462) and socket 478 or 775, and offer SD ram over DDR SDRAM when motherboard only supports DDR. Anyway i just want to say that not all staff is that dumb. but i do realize that we have many assistants which know nothing about pc parts or how they work. Thats why we have special training courses for them but they dont seem to care about that too much.

Plus, about overcharging, i agree shopping at PC World is a rip off, but then when it comes to complete n00bs which have never had a PC before, try telling them what is THE internet and how to shop there. Or explaining why Core 2 Duo cpus are generally faster even the clock speed is lower than older Pentiums with clock speeds over 3ghz. Or explaining people what is and how to set up a router (thats the most common one, totally drives me mad).

Hmmm to overly simplify - u could almost say the staff reflect their mainstream customers ? contraversial.
