Im Kostas from greece . Happy to join this forum .

I want to ask you .

What system would be better

An Ati 1950 pro 512 MB

Or two 2400s working in CrossFire ?

Here in greece 1950 pro 512mb costs around 130 - 140 euros

The 2400 256mb costs 60 - 70 euros . So i wonder which one should i buy ?

the 1950 pro doesnt support DX10 but the 2400 is not as powerfulas the 1950. But then again with the same money i can buy two 2400s !

And my question is which combination will have better performance ?

One 1950 by itself or two 2400s working together in CrossFire ?

Is there any lab test done with this combination anyone knows ?

Welcome aboard mate.

A single card is better than two mid range in C.F.

I'm not sure what 140 euros gets but see how much ati 2600's are or nvidia 8600gts.

Get the best single, most powerful card you can.

What Smith said. Its always better to have a great single card instead of 2 under cards. Because SLI/X-Fire dont work the way you might think, 2 midrange cards dont equal a high up card.

OK i see . I think i will buy a single card then.

Heres my deal on it. If you dont plan to use DX10/Vista any time soon, your best bet is the X1950pro. (Its better than the 7900GS and 8600GT in DX9 apps)
