For the last few months, I have put up with loud 30DB Plus fans in my case which sounds like a 747 is parked in my bedroom. I have decided to buy the NZXT Sentry Mesh fan controller. This fan controller is capable of up to 30 Watts for each of the five channels.

The product packaging is nothing special with some product branding and a picture of the product itself. The rear of the box displays some information about the product.
The contents of the box include the fan controller itself and a multilingual user manual.
The Sentry Mesh controller is based around a mesh design with the frame and mesh made of steel and the connectors and sliders made of plastic.
The packaging includes a multilingual manual.
The Sentry Mesh controller is powered by a single molex power supply connector.
Here are the five fan connectors going to each channel. This fan controller is capable of 30 watts per channel so it is possible to run multiple fans from each channel.
Now test time...
I hooked the Sentry Mesh fan controller up to my 29.75db Akasa 120mm LED fan. I could lower the fan controller down to 5V and the fan turned out to be quieter than my 19Db Silent Coolermaster fans while still pushing quite a lot of air. I have to say I prefer the sliders than the turn knobs you get on most fan controllers as you don't see big black or silver knobs sticking out the front of the PC, But I suppose everyone has their own opinion. This is the third fan controller I own and I have to say this is by far the best one I have ever owned.
The only thing I would like to see is some LED's around the gaps of the sliders so you could see a nice glow around each slider which would be great if that feature was added.
Overall I would give the NZXT Sentry Mesh a 9/10. It is an outstanding fan controller which is crammed with features and is great value for money!!!!
