my dad had alzheimer's and passed away after having 3 strokes in the space of 6 months, (R.I.P dad) his kidney failure didnt help either. so here i am doing my (hopefully) bit for research

my folding rig is my everyday computer, but it sits idle most of the time when nobody is home.

Specs:

Intel dual core E6300 running at 2.8GHZ (stock speed for now)

Gigabyte EG41MFT-US2H

4GIG Kingston 667MHz DDR3 RAM

Gigabyte ATI HD6870 1GB GPU

Corsair HX650W psu

Windows XP Pro SP3

may not be the quickest thing out there but im hoping to get at least 3.5GHz out of my cpu when i get the noctua CPU Cooler

im not sure if there is a issue with my F@H install, under display all i get is the same protein, doesnt change even though its on its second job(?)..

Its possible you get the same WU in a row ,

you can check the log files to see if it send a(the) finished WU ,

you'll find the logs where F@H is installed

im sure the WU is a diferent one as the first seemed small it was 250/250 once complete

the one running now is at 1780/2000

but have a look at the interface i get (see pic)

also it looks like its only using my CPU because GPU activity is Nil.

First off please don't use the viewer as there is known issues with it.

It is possible to run the same type of WU (protien) in a row but the, run, gen, and clone #'s should be different from WU to WU. If the run, gen and clone are the same on both WU's there is a configuration problem or the WU ended early (stability/config problem) and is running again.

If you are using the tracker please check version as some have issues. I'm not up on the tracker as all my stuff is manually configured. Maybe someone else can help in that area......
