So i will be ordering this setup next Friday all being well... Ill be cooling a 1055T for now but will add 2 GPU blocks in the near future and maybe an extra rad.

So any suggestions?

Also the clamps are for saftey because im moving to uni soon and need to transport it fully built. Just to be on the safe side im going to clamp them in transit but remove them when im there.

I've heard that the xspc hi flex hose is easy to kink. I have no experience with it, but i stayed away from it for that reason.

That res is perfect for the top of that HAF, what fans are you going to use? Push/Pull?

I dont know yet to be honest i need help with that bit, I want push pull with a balance between Perf and silence.

Are u going for silence or raw performance. If adding 2 gpu u will probably need a bit more rad

I want a balance between the 2 and yeah i know ill need more rad for the 2 GPU's ill probably mount that out the back.

Looks nice. Interested in your reply as to what fan you're going to use on that rad.

I don't know yet i need advice.

I am thinking about picking up some Red UV anti kink coils too just to give it that red accent to go with my rig.

I currently just finished my loop, using primoflex. It's very hard to kink. Great hose. I'm using 7/16's by 5/8's. That rad you have picked is sub 8 fpi. So a gentle typhoon fan would work great, maybe the 1850 rpm version. The black ones with grey blades. Good static pressure and decent cfm @ low db's . If going with a higher fpi rad, you'd want something with more static pressure. But the sound of the air passing the rad could be louder than the fan itself.

I'm using CM sickle flow fans. And at full tilt 2000 rpm they are very quite and have great flow and static pressure. You can turn them to about 75% with a fan controller, and the only thing you hear in my case is my 140mm fan on the back. Plus they are cheap for the performance.

have to agree with ya there they do a amazing job for airflow versus sound I have mine running off mobo at 50% and they still push decent air. Have one thats a lil noisey but I think its cause how its mounted to one of those snap in brackets in the bottom of my ccase might try screwing it in and see if it helps

Anyway I tend to get long winded lol but yes Sickle flows are the bees knees as our TTL likes to say

So i have Ordered the setup but i went for 1/2" bards over the 7/16" for a little more security.

I also ordered 3 Gentle typhoons 1850 RPMs for the Rad, i though as its only cooling the CPU so far ill just have them in either push or pull atm.

I'll post up a build log or some pics as soon as im done.

So a little update guys. I recieved my kit from specialtech today and it turns out they sent me a VGA block instead on a CPU block:/. Anyone have any experience with being sent wrong equipment and how long it takes to get the right stuff?

I haven't had experience my self but I have read in other threads that some retailers (not sure about specialtech) will send you the correct part and collect the other one from you at the same time. So if you contact them they might ship it to you in the next couple of days and collect the VGA block when the CPU block is delivered.

Yes ive just resolved it. I have a Shipping label to send this one back and they said they will send out the sorrect part today so it's here tomorrow
