unfortunately i have gone over my budget by about £100

plz let us no what you think of my choices and if they are the right ones? hope u like it ill post pics wen im done. now grill my build!

I Wouldnt touch that psu especially when the new corsair modulars are out and they cost £99 for a 850W

Pay £5 more and get the cm 690 ii advanced SE

80MM FAN = LOUD

50MM FAN = LOUDER!

Cooler master v8 = crap! get a gelid tranquilo over that

where can i buy one of theses new PSU's? also whats the difference in the 2 cases? and the fans hell it help the air flow noise isn't an issue

and the v8 ty for the advice ill shop around a bit more

keep it coming!

do you think 650w corsair PSU would be enough?

also can you let us no some good CPU coolers ?

thanks:)

ok changed the PSU to a 750W Corsair HX Series Modular

and the CPU cooler to a Corsair H60 Water-Cooling CPU Cooler

cooler expensive but worth it( tried an tested) noctua nhd 14

um if you are after a cheap on try the coolermaster hyper 212 i have both of them in diff rigs and they run great

oh and check out the aria part of the forums i got 8gb of ram for 39 pounds which i think is worth the exta tenner

and check out scan for the cpu its slightly cheaper you can get free delivery here if you sign upto avforums for 14days

and cheaper still aria if you wait 28 days an dmake 50 posts and follow their instuctions

i need a cooler with a downward facing fan if possible but its not needed just preferred

Noctua C12P and Noctua C14 both have downward facing fans.

I've had the C12P, but if you wanna overclock, get the C14! Temps are not as good as the D14's temps, but it's probably the closest you get with a downward blowing cooler.

Thermalright Silver Arrow CPU Cooler?

will this fit on a cooler master cm 690 ii advanced?

it an banging cooler and i can get one for cheep so will it fit? if so sorted!

It should fit, Cooler Master's page on the case say "CPU cooler height:177.0mm", and the Silver Arrow is 160mm tall..

Also read about people having a silver arrow and that case.

thanks i would of liked a downward facing cooler coz of my motherboard having a strange plastic thing over it but for £20 i cant go wrong with that cooler lol

Cooler wise with the 2500k i would go for the Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro or Advanced because they both look awesome and would easily cope with temps.
