BuGGzLuVa GAMING RYZEN BUILD

Hello all, Hope everyone is well.

I would first like to start by saying sorry to Tom, and all on the Forum, for not updating the Build log.
I have honestly felt terrible for it, so sorry again.

I had been struggling with a few things, all is well now felling a lot better.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------.

To the Build, I have finally chosen and purchased all the components I will be going with, other than AIO I shall be getting that next week.

I'm leaning towards the Fractal Celsius 360 Rad Tom has just Reviewed, if it would be available in time.

I will now list the parts I have decided to go for.

CPU}. Ryzen R7 1800X

Motherboard}. Asus Crosshair V Hero.

Memory}. Team Group Tforce Vulcan 3000Mhz. Black&Grey.

Storage}.(1X WD black 1TB HDD). (X1 Hyper X Savage 240GB SSD). will be adding an M.2 asap.

GPU}. Radeon R9 Fury X HBM. 120mm, AIO.
I may be Customising this?. Bit Scared tbh lol.

AIO}. Fractal Celsius 360mm Rad. may also customise this.

Fans}. 5X Corsair HD 120s. I know lol.. Bit much maybe..

Chassis}. Phanteks P400S in white Tempers Glass Edison.

PSU}.Leadex Superflower 750Watt 80+ Gold in white.

I don't think I have missed anything I am struggling to deside witch M.2 to go for, so any advice concerning that would much appreciated. It will just be for the OS mostly, Maybe a couple of applications to.

The GPU was actually given to me in support towards the Build, from someone over @ AMD, if I told you who you wouldn't believe me anyways, i was told not to so I have to respect his wishes.

It was a huge shock, still can't believe I actually own a Fury X. ? Lol. Bit reluctant to Mess with it.

Chasis wise, I nearly went for the Fractal Design R5. Had organised me buying both Case and PSU i wanted off someone on eBay, Seemed a nice bloke to, felt bad i couldnt purchase the components from him, but my luck is terrible at the minute.
In short I lost £200 pounds, Not good at all. And as that kind of stopped me in my tracks,
I had a couple of options, I either gave up on the build completely as it set me back two to three weeks, or take 5 and slow down the build a little. I couldn't give up.

I decided then to go for the P400S in white with the idea to maybe get any Black sections of it powder coated white, I will see how the Build terns out before I decide Completely.

I think that's everything, again sorry I never Intending starting the Build log to then just leave it so long but with circumstances being like they are. I had to deal with a couple of things.

I have a huge amount of respect for Mr Tom Logan.
So when I notice some idiot make a rude comment towards him today, I thought a F#@# it. And, bit back at the lad.

When I did that I thought well if Mr Logan remeber the Build log at all It was probable a good idea to pop over here and update it.

I have Felt terrible for not Coming Back on and updating this,

So again to Mr Logan & all who me welcomed me to the forum sorry for seemly abandoning the Post.

To say I'm exited to finally get the system finished is a huge understatement, I can't believe I'm a week away from completely finishing this project or at least the first part of it lol..

Thank you all for taking the Time to Read this, and again please accept my apologies.

I will update the Log again next week as I have to pop in to hospital Friday. I will be out of action for a couple of days. Its nothing major.

Next week Thursday or Friday is when I shall be start the Build,

I will make sure to post and update this as i go,

Thanks again all.

You should swap the HD fans for the MLs. The HD are essentially the less effective (cheaper) SPs but with RGB.

The MLs have the floating magnetic bearings which mean they are virtually silent. Not RGB though. I bought red ones.

Great choice on mobo. For the memory, make sure you get a Samsung B die kit. I bought a G Skill F4-3200C14-8GTZ kit that run 3200mhz day one. Possibly by the end of June, the latest AGESA bios revisions will be out and you can run other chips at full speed.

Also if you would happen to buy some RGB memory, don't run any of the RBG software if it's G Skill. There is a bug in the software that is corrupting SPD's of the memory chips.

If you are going to overclock, download a program Zen States, and turn off core boost. That will keep your voltages in check, especially if you have a failed boot.

The Fury is a good card, but I would not recommend anyone buy one right now. The performance is good, but it does not get the driver support it should. It was kind of a test bench. It should last you a while still though.

Welcome to the forum.

N0ddie.
Thank for checking this out mate.

I didn't even realise people had been reply my post sorry all.

I do have all the parts now I will for sure be looking into upgrading certain parts in the future, as I did want to set up a full custom loop when its stable.

Also as I have had to buy the parts over the past couple of month, they may seem a little out of wack with each other.

thanks all for the info and for checking this out much appreciated.

Excalabur50.

Thank you, Really was nice of you to say that.

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks dude for the info, Ill be sticking with the Ram I think I'll be OK,
As its the Same kit OverclockersUK offer with the Board in a bundle.

Which was pretty lucky tbh Lol.

I had come across a post on YouTube recently, where a bloke had had that exact thing happen, concerning the RGB Gskill Ram, and one of the Board manufactures lighting software.

The lighting will be pretty much self contained the fans will have there own controller. Case the same, and the Motherboard I may just leave as is.

I just want it to work Lol.
I have been planing it so long, for it to be a week away now is pretty exiting :-).

Thanks for the info mate, I'll defo keep it in mind.

The Fury X will give me a good baseline,
I had a slight mess with it just before getting rid of my old system.
I managed to over clocked it to 1180MHz on the Core,
I tried it with the Relive Software recording Gameplay also and seemed ok,

Didn't have to long with it just a day really, so can't say for sure weather the drivers have improved at all, also I have no experience with one so had to try watch a few reviews,

Then Overclocking Guides, decided against trying to Overclocking the memory, Max out all the sliders, managed to get 1180Mhz on the Core strait away.

I will be upgrading it to some form of Vega when its released, But I have aload of testing I'd like to do with the Fury first.

It did do well, I could feel a noticeable difference in power Over my Gaming X RX 480.

Can't wait to start up BF1 for the first time lol. :-).

Just want to say thank you all, for taking the time to read these posts, I'll make sure to track the Build with Pics etc. And post as I go.

Pics or it didn't happen :D

Lol i know right.

It was all a dream!..

I shall be uploading the pictures buddy, I'd struggle to remeber it happening if I didn't lol.

I will start Thursday with the Pictures etc, Go threw the parts.

And then start the Build Friday, OMG I'm exited!.

I may attempt to custom paint the Fury Xs Panels/shroud, ?.

I did buy some hydro dipping film, but I'm a little unsure on it now.

I am struggling with the idea of customising the Fury tbh, as i dont want to distroy the look of it.

;-) made me laugh that did buddy, good on ya.

Pics or it didn't happen :D

Hey dude, been trying to upload some PIC online since yesterday Build is near finished now, I do have to say so far I'm extremely happy so far.

I was going to go for an AIO but as I was struggling money wise I decided to go Back to my first thought and test it on AIR with the Be Quite Pure Rock.

When i have completely set her, done my first batch of testing I'll will skip the AIO and go for a full Custom loop, With the Idea then to integrate The RX Vega GPU into the System.

I'm extremely happy so far with how it has turned out.

A quick note as money was so tight this week I will be adding additional storage in the form of an NVME drive for the OS and a larger WDBlack at a later date, I just need a PC right now so I will set her up as is.

Thank you for welcoming me to the forum all be at an while bk now.

This is definitely one to sit and wait on for a few weeks. Keep your money safe and keep adding to the pot if you can.

Right now youll need to be spending a lot of money on cooling if you want a quiet rig

Hi Mr Logan, Hope all is well so I have finally set her up other than The CPU cooler witch arrives tomorrow, also some extra storage witch I will be getting the beginning of next month.

looks wise I'm extremely happy I like the black and white look now. I have uploaded aload of pics online, I'll update my Build log tomorrow when I have use of the PC.

The AIM then is to skip the AIO and go to a full custom loop.

I'd also like to say thank you for all the Hard work you have done on your channel bringing us Top Quality Reviews Build logs since day one obviously.
