Beaut or Bad Build?

I have just finished acquiring the following parts for the red, green and black rig I am calling Ov3rkill3r. But looking through various forums it seems most of the 'big' builds are going for the older X99 & 2011 chip set variations. Consequently I am feeling a bit like a goose that I may have been taken in by all the Z170 & 1151 hype.
My goal was to build a comprehensive system that will provide long-term value for money by:

Remaining competitive for several years to come
Providing a robust system for my wannabe academic work
Providing a platform for Overclocking & open-ended system Evolution
Maximising Open world, First person, RPG Immersion
Maximising Open world, First person, RPG Modding potentials
=> I seriously love Skyrim, FONV, Nexus and the modding communities
Anyway... feedback and advice would be appreciated.

I love the aesthetics of this board and the sound quality it offers is absolutely second to none. But I specifically chose it because it offers: 2 x M.2 ports (with RAID supported); HDMI 2.0; numerous SATA 3 ports; EMI shielding for the sound card; advanced cooling solution potentials (even if I don't plan to use them ATM); and, a simple Overclocking dial that goes, like Spinal Taps famous amps, to ELEVEN !!!! And the possibility of incorporating VRam can't hurt.

The gaming options possible with two of these fellas in SLI is very, very, tempting BUT, I believe the real 4K@60Hzs money shots will only come with the inevitable 1080 Titans and I can't see us waiting more than a year for these absolute beasts to make their total domination felt globally. So, if I start saving now, and put the money for the second ASUS 1070 (AUD 899.00) into my money box then I might just me able to afford two GTX 1080 Titans, and one of the new NVidia SLI bridges to go with them. I hope...

This little beauty has fantastic aesthetics, especially after I mod the fans, and is surprisingly powerful. I have thought very carefully about aeration pathways and have 6 x 140mm fans spread out over front, top and rear panels. If I can use the 200mm fan that came with the case for the rear fan, I will. In case I need to get more air into the PSU chamber, my dremel is all ready. And I will definitely consider integrating a little coloured H2O down the track!

Kogan is a great Aussie brand with overclockability, HDMI 2.0 & Vesa. I am hoping to get 75 to 90 Hz with OC-ing. I also have some old Kogan TVs that I plan to add in portrait to either side of the main display and possibly a third one landscaped above it. Just got to paint all those bezels.

While most reviewers give these fellas high grades, a couple have questioned their inability to hit the big BASS highlights in games. SO I thought I could run them incorporating my old Logitech subwoofer for added growl. I don't know if this will work - ATM it is just an idea and I am certainly no sparkie.

Please refrain from using such offensive formatting in future - your post has been cleaned and title has been edited.

I get it

Please replace the current title with, "Beaut or Bad Build"

Would you also please explain to me what was offensive about my formatting and why you apparently had to interpose an emoji on legitimate text ??
thanx

Title has been changed. A mix of random fonts and sizes is not desirable to read, please consider this.

NZXT Sentry Mix 2 Fan Controller

Not sure if you have this already but I had horrid voltage issues with this controller. Certain fans such as the Corsair AF series would sound like a horrible vibration.

Hi Warchild,
Thank you for the input - I will keep this in mind when I start to build on Monday. How does the speed clock relate to the post?
Regards,
A

The term 'long time value for money' has no meaning when you are dropping a load of money, it'll be outdated in 3-4 years regardless of how much you spend.
You didn't say anything about 3D work and the likes, so 32GB of RAM is just overkill, you'll rarely see more than 8GB in use when playing games, 16GB will do you just fine. The same applies to x99, unless you want to do professional work and need the threads it's a waste of money.
A 1000W PSU is unnecessary, running two GTX1070s on a 750W PSU should work without any problems.
For the love of god don't get a Razer headset, they are garbage. Get some decent entry level headphones like the Beyerdynamics DT990/770 pro or Sennheiser HD558 and an amp/dac like the FiiO E10k. If you have the money, don't skimp on audio gear.
