My dear AX1200i and some of my Ram got murdered by a leak. Which was caused by a faulty compression fitting which i twisted on until tight but there was something amiss with the threads so it might of gone down half as far as it normally would. it leak tested fine but a few days down the track is started leaking and causing a very very big bang when it got into my PSU.

And yes i am aware of the mega hack job on tubing! Actually rocking 3 different types in there!

1. 7/16ID 5/8OD
2. 1/2ID 3/4OD
3. 3/8ID 1/2OD

Yes i know i need to sort it out lol the reason its like that was because when i was adding in the Gpu + Mobo it turned out that i either didn't have enough fittings or hose in each of the various sizes and at this point the blocks were already mounted so i had to come up with this hack job to get my system back up and running.

Bleeding it literally took hours.......... That's why I've been so hesitant in pulling it apart as i remember how difficult it was to get the air out of the mobo blocks. But it is on the to do list.

But yea update on where my rig is at Complete :-)

To me at the time i felt it wasn't anything special. Today i have a much greater appreciation for the monster at my disposal. But in saying that it's much more the monster now then it was :-)

Yea the mismatch tubing is crap. but it was an emergency, the extreme difficulty in bleeding it properly is the main reason why i haven't changed it already...... its on the to do list but not overly urgent as it hasn't noticeably impeded cooling performance as I'm still getting awesome temps.

Since these photos were taken I've actually ordered some Corsair Sleeved cables. And once the Corsair SP120 LED fan's reach AUS I'm going to do a fan change out..... then i guess i'll get around to fixing the tubing lol.

Did it just occur to me that I have a few days off with nothing to do. I think I sense a project about to be undertaken.

Im glad your sorting the tubing. Remember less is more.....

Please dont make my teeth itch again

Yea I know Tom. After the OP I fixed up the crazy excess, then found myself in trouble when I added my mobo and gpu blocks in and had to do a hack job. Which surprised me that it still works well. But trying to bleed it properly was an absolute nightmare by far the most painful thing I've ever had to do with my rig.

I've come up with a truly unique way of doing my tubing, this is something I've never seen done before on another build. I'm waiting for some parts to arrive which should show up Monday Tuesday this week. I'm prepping what i can this weekend to get it ready so once i got everything i can assemble it quickly and hassle free. But watch this space to see something abit more unique!

You need to edit/fix the pics in the opening post dude.

Hi Sub could you please close this thread.

Since I couldn't fix the OP. I made a new thread with all my rig updates up to this point in the new thread op.

Cheers
Xr.
