Hi guys:)
How many of you ride mountain bike?
I felt in LOVE with that over a year ago, and since than I had a lot of fun, and not tooo many crushes:)
I know that Tom rides MTB, but I would be interested how many more people like to shred in the woods.
Does anyone ride in Cannock Chase?
Post Video of you riding and of course your bike:)

That's my bike

Sorry for the picture but my phone is .......(bad)
The bike is Vitus Escarpe 1 2013, with many things changed, I think that only stock things still on the bike are fork, rear shock, and brakes, if anyone wanna full spec just let me know:)

I also have couple of videos on YT:)
Bear in mind that I'm new to the sport:)

I ride, used to shred, but age is slowly putting a stop to that  My brain says "yeah just nail those tripples" and my body simply refuses these days, plus falling off at 33 hurts like hell! I don't remember it hurting that much in my teens/early twenties..

Anyway onto my ride, I have a custom 2013 Carrera Titan LE which started out as a stock XC rig cost me £600 but in true DH stylee things had to change ;) so I turned to a local company J-Tech Suspension, they took my forks away and did their magic stripping the SR Suntours and fitting Fox elastomers, seals, stansion baths and race coil sets, I got a Feebay bargain 1999 Fox Van RC rear which they fully tuned and serviced, swapped the swing arm bearings for proper rifle bearings then I whipped off the lame calipers and discs replaced those with Shimano M414s cable jobs and new Tektro wavey rotors 185F/165R finishing off the hubs with Halo locking skewers.

I used to ride quite often when I was a little younger but I haven't hit any trails for a long time, I wouldn't contemplate bringing my bike to Oxford and i've never found that much time for it when visiting home. Maybe next summer ^_^

I bought this bike off ebay nearly 2 years ago, the guy had been given it as an old stock replacement from evans and used it as a road bike for a couple months then put it away in his garage. He took the grips and seat off and never touched them so it's really mint. It's only been properly dirty once and that was a couple weeks after I got it. I replaced the roady tires with Fast Trak LK's, put some black XTR shifter cables on it, a set of specialized carbon bars swanky locking grips and some matching DMR V12's.

It's a 30th Anniversary Stumpjumper Comp in full Specialized team colours with original factory colour co-ordinated parts. It weighs in at just a hair over 10kg which is pretty good going for an Alu frame.

And i'm totally not OCD about it and not even slightly scared of scratching it. Is that dust on it ahhh :o

I'm currently rocking a custom Norco Six One.
There's loads I want to do it as I just bought it second hand to get me up and running quickly for summer.

(Will get a pic soon)

I love riding, used to compete about 10 years ago. My dad was my personal mechanic and we would head all over the place.

I had a custom built Cove "Stiffee" bike and a Cove "hustler" when I moved to Norway but broke my heart to have both stolen within 2 weeks of moving here. Now though I am just settling down with a Specialized Rockhopper 29" which isnt even worth showing a pic ;)

Already saving up for next summer. I have a Santa Cruz bike on my wishlist or at least for now. Who knows what upgrades will be around next year.

That was my dream bike for a while :/. Probably for the best I didn't get it as my mountain bikes tend to end up looking like they're in a war zone

Haven't currently got one as fixed gear/roadbikes are more my thing at the mo'. Used to have a 2010 Specialized Hardrock Sport with some old fox shocks and fork. Nothing special. I'll see if I have a photo when I go home. Used to go to thetford most weekends.

wow now I feel strange, 1st because I'm kick my bike like a rock and it hasn't seen a washing since a year and 2nd because my bike is a fully stock "cheapo" Bulls bike

This is my specialized hardrock the only stock parts on it are the front derailleur and the frame haha

Nice bikes lads:)
I have to update pics of my ride, but I want to do it when its nice whether, so yeah I would have to wait a little bit for it:) Considering the beautiful whether we have right now :D

I never had a mountain bike, I used to own a road bike (my dad bought it for my birthday about 10 years ago, don't know the model, all I know it was a Schwinn). It was stolen last year and I didn't bother to buy another one since.

Well Ive got some kind of bike. I got it for €50 from some guy who didnt want it anymore. I suppose its a mountain bike as its defo not a road bike.

I have got a Kona Stinky in the garage, I haven't ridden her in a long time! It must be a 2007 Kona Stinky, but my god she is a beaut!
I rode a Stinky Deelux DH in competition, hated it with a passion, I had no feeling of the swing arm and the flex when getting the pedals down in the berms was atrocious, later went back to the GT STS Lobo (now that was a DH rig).

I love the swing arm on the stinky! I love the feeling of it, I did a few big jumps and the compression was great! Used to love doing big gaps to flat!

Best feeling on the bike is manual'ing out of a berm and feeling the swing arm compress a little, getting that lean back on!
