Hey guys, I was thinking about getting one of THESE as a backup drive so that I could keep all of my ISO's and what not neatly stored on my computer instead of a stack fo DVD's in my room
I noticed a few features I like about it, the first being that it's SATA II... I'd like to know if it actually supports a 300mb/s transfer rate, if so, that's awesome for a storage drive!!! And of course, NF4 supports SATA II, yay! :worship:
I was curious though, I thought I read somewhere that NF4 can handle up to like 8 SATA drives or something which is a huge increase over NF3 which was only capable of handling 2 SATA drives. The reason I ask is that if I add a storage drive to another SATA port which were controlled by another chipset which is unlocked it will kill my overclock. I'm just trying to verify that the NF4 chip handles all of the SATA ports on these new boards.
