Lovely weather in Surrey

Who else is experiencing the lovely winds and rain? Went to sainsburys this morning and one of their signs which i guess was on wheels pretty much raced passed me and people running into the supermarket.

From watching the news, it seems the South has it pretty bad!

I got a flight from Manchester to the Isle of Man this morning (and the planes they use for that aren't big at all!).

Wasn't the most comfortable of flights to say the least, and the landing was very...well....sideways.

I do not envy you being on that flight. All the local roads are either flooded or blocked by fallen trees.

Wind is that strong where I am it blew me down some steps earlier.

I didn't know how bad the weather was when I left my flat this morning, I stood for a second at the top of the steps that lead onto the path from my flat to put my earphones on, the wind picked up and blew me forward down the steps for about 5ft.

I'm 6'3" and 25st, so for the wind to be able to blow me a good 4-5ft forward it must have been blowing pretty fast and hard, not that I was braced for it but still

Loads of flooding down here too, rivers bursting banks, tunnels flooded, wind damage - all kindsa stuff happened over night.

Just have to hope the rain holds off for everyone today.

Really wet and windy in Manchester and Rochdale overnight. It's dry at the moment though.

Went out to a mates to see everyone before xmas last night. Driving down country lanes at 11 pm isn't fun :/. Had to get out at one point and see how deep the water was with my mates crutch :L.
