Llano is here!

Well the new AMD chips have rolled in (Am I late, I was camping this weekend so idk)

At $140 US the A8-3850 looks pretty steeply priced in my opinion.

You can grab an Athlon II 640 for $40 less then throw down $80 for a 6570 and run the Llano to the ground for $40 bucks more...

Well... Now that I think about it, Llano is perfect for a home PC. There is no discreet graphics card, but it can still handle the HD content (and Minecraft) and its quieter, less heat I presume, and also a little less power consumptive.

So what do you guys think. Do you think Llano prices need to be dropped just a tad?

140$ seems fairly priced imho after all its a cpu and gpu in one. As far as less heat thats debatable as well since it is cpu/gpu combo chip it has a 100w TDP so it may be a tad warmer. But one can also pair it with a gpu for xfire no telling how it scales yet to determine what beats what

I'll be upgrading to this chip and doing exactly that SIN i.e. crossfire with the APU

Why don't you just buy another 5770 and crossfire?

That card is being RMA'd so i'm hoping they will send me a 6 series card. I can't afford two 6 series cards and I need shot of my POS saphire 790gx mobo. So you see I have to upgrade my mobo anyway, may as well be to an APU board.
