Here I am yet again with the Lian Li Q10 and this time I wanted to place a fully Custom Loop in its megarly 19L. What I was looking for was a case with a side window and at least 1 space for a 120mm radiator. With this then I wanted to cool both CPU and GPU with a lonely 120mm radiator. I also wanted to keep ALL stock as of components as I wanted to do this so all can do a build like this - there a re many modders out there that can do wonders but here I want everything out of the box.

I understand that the minimum would be 120mm of rad space per component but I wanted the smallest possible scenario while yet keeping the sleek looks.

The components are the following:

CPU: i3 4130T
MOBO: z97 i - plus
GPU: Asus GTX 960 Mini
SSD1: Windows Samsung 840 EVO 120 gb
SSD2: *Por Confirmar*

WC Possible parts:

Different possible 120mm radiators: Or Alphacool with 30mm Or Ek with 45mm Or Fractal with 45mm
Pumps: Either the pump of the Fractal T12 Or the Eisberg Pump Solo, the low rpm version.
GPU Block: Custom block from AlphaCool for the ASUS GTX 960 Mini
VFans: *Depends* if I have to use SLIM o normal ones.
Fittings: EK-HDC Fitting 12mm G1/4
Tube: EK-HD PETG Tube 10/12mm

Alphacool St30:
LL

Ek XT 120:
5203352

Fractal T12:

Alphacool Eisberg:

As you can see then I have a 960 in the mix - and WHY would you water cool that?? The first of its kind as it was made specialy for my request and Alphacool was nice enough to do it. The reason why, just because I wanted to - and to have a watercooled PC all cooled by a single 120mm radiator.

I have most of the components here, now just to wait for the time to start....!

*EDIT* The reason why I had the 1150 components for this and the 960 was due to the fact that I started this project a long tima ago but I did not have the time to do it due to children etc etc. I would like to re do it but with more up to date harware - later on.

In the end I had to go with the Fractal T12 pump as the Esiberg did not fit due to the radiator being too thick with any size fans.

This would be with a fan of 25mm and a rad of 30mm - Could either be made in push OR pull. It is mm away of touching the pump - there was much less space than I expected.

Here is a 45mm radiator with a 15mm (slim) fan -same thing, either in push or pull but not both.

And finaly a slim 30mm radiator that can be done with 2 Slim fans in Push/pull.

No fans that are slim are good at static pressure so I would think that I would go for the single 25mm standard fan with the 30mm radiator.

In the end then I am still waiting for some fittings to arrive then I started to build with the soft tubing that was standard with the Fractal T12 - it has a very strange size at 11/8 and it makes it very very prone to kinks.

I then decided to go 2002 on the build and get some anti kink coils for this test - Fractal was very suportive and sent me some. I also changed the idea a bit and added a EK 100 reservoir to help with the filling and bleeding of the loop. I hav various colors around and decided to try UV green again.

This is ONLY done for testing and will NOT be the final build - hard tubing will be done. If you llok closely then I am missing some 90* fittings in black so I just used sprakle black form xspc comming out of the GPU and the res.

The photos are bad as they were all taken by my tablet, sry for that. I need to sort ot my ssd as its full of rubbish so need to make complete reinstall - I just made a quick 20 min benchmark on valley to see GPU temps. Stayed at 41c full load.

Will be back when I get my hard tubings and then I will take some proper photos.
