I haven't been driving long - I only passed my test on Monday. As such, you can imagine my family's horror when I told them I'd be driving down to see Tom, a resident in the clouds called "TTL Towers" (its not a tower block before you ask lol)
The journey to the ferry spanned 142 miles, which is the longest I've ever driven solo, and has taken me a frankly ridiculous 5 hours to get here. Due to the bank holiday weekend + it's a Friday, my average speed along this journey has been a mighty 27mph. Oh dear god. How do you experienced drivers deal with this crap?
I haven't been able to take all that many pictures along the way, as my eyes have been glued to the endless expanse of Tarmac ahead of me, but those I have shall be posted once I have a decent Internet connection to do so with.
I understand that most of you will not be interested in the slightest, b
ut I'm doing this to keep me occupied along the way. Soo, I'm going to update this thread once I've actually docked the ferry, something which won't be happening until 22:15, and I'll try to get some pictures along the way.
Adios.
