Learning to be a reviewer......

Colleagues. Theres really not a lot of money in reviewing.

Especially with the huge fucking debt I got myself in to buy it out in the first place!

Well I hope you get back in the black eventually! You do fine work, and the reviews you guys do are always excellently done IMO. Your videos are excellent entertainment, and informative too. I watched your M8 video end-to-end about 3 times before I bought my case. :)

What did your parents think about you going to see some strange fellow hours away in a tower?

I know the first time I met an online friend in person my dad was convinced I was going to be raped repeatedly. Imagine my disappointment when all we did was eat dinner.

Very happy for you Josh and slightly jealous as well. I'd love to take a ride out to see you guys, but I think the ferry ride would be a little longer. ;)

Good luck, have fun, and can't wait to read some of your reviews. Also, safe journey home!

 Psssssssst... Josh... shhhhhh. Smuggle the Sniper M5 and a 4470k out from Tom's magic cupboard, i'll give you a good price for them

Enjoy your trip dude and have fun playing with the hardware.

Good luck on your journey Josh, hope you get there in good condition and come back in good condition :p

Thanks! I'll try my best. I just need a good rest and I'll be fine :D

Mother wasn't too best pleased at first, but she was happier after a brief phone call to Tom + a word from my driving instructor telling her I was a good driver.
Thankfully this isn't my first time meeting an online person, and I have met up with time once before, so I guess these things helped put her mind at ease.

Thanks for the kind words, just hope I can make some good content :)

[whisper] alright, sounds like a plan. I'll pick up a few 780s for you too.[/whisper]

Tah fella, I'm just looking forward to sleeping atm. Been up 20 hours, with 13 of them being stuck in my car. Thank Odin for caffeine.

im kinda dreading writing this review for Nanoxia, ive spent a good while re-reading it and chopping and changing bit so i hope it good!

Ya arrived yet? :p

Have fun with that hardware! How long are you staying anyway if you don't mind me asking?

Yup, got in about 50 minutes ago. Jesus Christ i'm tired.

Anyhoo, a little dump of pictures that i've taken along the way.

Have you ever bought a bottle of drink solely for the size of its aperture? These two were my backup plans if things didn't quite go to plan. Bought at a service station around 40 miles away from where I started, or two hours into my route.

Showing off the driving gloves. They weren't used for actual driving as it's harder to operate the cruise control...controls...with them on. They are good for when it's below freezing outside and the steering wheel's a block of ice.

This was around 3 hours in to the journey. 21mph average...euch.

I was impressed with myself when I managed to do that in one go, until I got out the car and realised how much space I actually had to play with. Still...I'm proud of it
This was at around 8pm, or 5 hours into my trip, and was taken a stone throw away from the dock. I had turned up half an hour before only to be told that the next ferry was at 22:15. Not cool, not cool at all.

Again, these were taken as I was waiting for the ferry to arrive. You can see that my average speed increased by an entire 6mph from the last photo - a testament to the rapid nature of the M3

Still waiting for the damn ferry to arrive. This was at around 21:20.

A photo taken 40 minutes before the ferry set sail. This was at 22:20

A shame my iPhone's camera didn't do this photo more justice, but the reflections caused by the moon were pretty cool. Ferry was on the move by then, as it was but only just.

Aboard the ferry! This thing was my saving grace - I don't know if I'd have made it without those crisps. Ignore the demonspawn in the reflection, that little fella damn near lost an eye as he cut infront of me.

The caffeine graveyard. There are only four cans on show here, but i'd already chucked five away when I arrived at the dock.

And i've arrived. Kinda strange, really. Door was open but I couldn't find Tom. I keep hearing rattling noises from outside but there's nothing out there. Very strange. This was taken at 00:08.

All in all it's taken me over nine hours to get here and i'm ready to pass out. If any of you see/hear of Tom be sure to let me know.

I'd say it's been a fun time, but I'd be lying through my god damn teeth.

Until next time,
Arrivederci.

Not quite sure to be honest. Have a looaad of work to do here, so I guess i'll be gone when it's all done.

Just be real careful which bottle you drink from when you start to get tired dude eeerrrrk anywho good luck and safe journey.

Sounds like a real adventure mate - enjoy. I remember the first time I drove to London on my own, got the car upto 70, all seemed fine - then I hit the brakes - uncontrollable juddering. I know now that it was warped discs, but at the time I absolutely sh*t myself - I thought I was going to die, nearly turned back and went home, and yeah when those lorries breeze past you, you can feel your grip tightened on the wheel as you knuckles turn white and your not quite sure if letting out a breath could upset the balance of the car...

At least it didn't rain - now that's when the fun really starts.:)
