I haven't been driving long - I only passed my test on Monday. As such, you can imagine my family's horror when I told them I'd be driving down to see Tom, a resident in the clouds called "TTL Towers" (its not a tower block before you ask lol)

The journey to the ferry spanned 142 miles, which is the longest I've ever driven solo, and has taken me a frankly ridiculous 5 hours to get here. Due to the bank holiday weekend + it's a Friday, my average speed along this journey has been a mighty 27mph. Oh dear god. How do you experienced drivers deal with this crap?

I haven't been able to take all that many pictures along the way, as my eyes have been glued to the endless expanse of Tarmac ahead of me, but those I have shall be posted once I have a decent Internet connection to do so with.

I understand that most of you will not be interested in the slightest, but I'm doing this to keep me occupied along the way. Soo, I'm going to update this thread once I've actually docked the ferry, something which won't be happening until 22:15, and I'll try to get some pictures along the way.
