At the same settings you used out of the box I got 1744 on heaven 4.0 extreme preset, So my cheaper reference card beat the kingpin lol

ps. I don't mind someone defending something he/she regards as better than other items, but for the love of god, provide some solid proof :)
 
This thread has got me back into messing around with my 280x ^_^. So far got it to 1125 on the core/1510 Mem at 65C after running for half an hour on heaven. The score is nothing special although Pretty sure my chip has a long way to go before it starts to get hot. Hopefully the other 280x I get will play ball as well.
 
With NVIDIA Control Panel help off course, on such clock reference can barely keep boost with 100% fan speed. I know such scores, because of them and I don't want to benchmark except in live where you can't cheat nothing. I can make maybe 19.000 GPU Score in 3DMark 11 now this moment on same clock with NVIDIA Control Panel.
Because of that I avoid to show clock, always someone came to say he have better.
No I thought if I buy Kingpin I will beat all of you. That card could cost 3000e than no 765e.

My card is best, I play in silence on 1200MHz deep under 70-72C and no worry or listen turbine.

My 780 Ti at 1200/3800 runs at 71'c in games and is quiet, No offence bud but your talking out of your behind.
 
I would be 25 on list, immediately behind someone with 1250/2000MHz, me with 1072/1750, xexe, not bad or 1200/1750 depend what they look.

Same setting in Heaven as me but my card boost on 1202MHz and 1750memory and your on 1280/2025MHz.
I tell you I change lot of cards, and GTX780 Classified before his, I can't remember... this is not normal chip like you find usually.

That table is for 1920x1080 extreme preset, NOT 1600x900.

If I see good on that list only my card is not close to death because of OC.
You will see when my block arrive and turn both switches for voltage and change BIOS...

Believe me I would not change now this card for two GTX780Ti any model.
What you think could I jump on 15-16th place only with memory OC???

If anyone put their 780 Ti under water it will keep up with your kingpin no problem.

Oops I did it again baby, I accidently beat the kingpin with my cheaper reference card...

I only see you PhysX score is 3.000 higher then mine because Processor and I don't see your clocks of cards... I show mine, that's out of box. Like I told you if some model give you warranty on higher clock that cost double, same as used CPU... But nothing is warranty, for me is enough because I'm near guys with 300MHz overclocked memory than mine and 100MHz almost higher clock and because on similar result I have under 70C. For me that is enough. When someone give you warranty to win near all of you he can ask 2000e for card and customers will brake legs to buy...
This is for me best and nicest GTX780Ti on market.
Now I go to play Left 4 Dead 2, K|NGP|N say this card is only for gamers not for overclocking, she give bad score :)

Yey finally some directly comparable data to conclude the 780Ti Kingpin vs 2x 780 Classified thread argument :) So for Unigine Heaven Benchmark 4.0 1920x1080 8xAA fullscreen, Custom, Ultra, Extreme...

EVGA GTX780Ti K|NGP|N (@stock) - 1739 (69.1fps)
EVGA GTX780 Classified x2 (@stock) - 2358 (93.6fps) +35.6%

As of right now there are no Kingpins available at UK retailers so it's very difficult to come up with a fair price to compare them on, a Ti Classified is currently £639.95 and although it would be more, in the interest of extreme fairness we will say it costs the same. The 780's are currently £419.98 at Dabs.

EVGA GTX780Ti K|NGP|N - 1739 / £639.95 = 2.7174
EVGA GTX780 Classified x2 - 2358 / £839.96 = 2.8073 +3.3%

I know this is a pretty rough estimation and it's largely inaccurate to assume the heaven score will scale linearly with increased gpu performance, but who would of thought that it would be so close.
