Jeeeez! Do these noobs think we're miracle workers!!

You need to reel in your sister, dude, have a good half-hour talk about 'the os'es and the cpu's, and the RAM and the gpu's' (the pc version of 'the birds and the bees, and the flowers and the trees'.) Any time she wants to do something computer related, make sure she consults YOU first. And explain that the dudes in Redmond won't exactly shed a tear for her woes.

Come to think of it, she should make that dumbscheisse 'The Computer Man' pay her for the copy of Vista... punishment for his stupidity.

While I fix alot of peoples PCs for them I do not like being taken a lend of, I also like to educate them at the same time to prevent any further problems. Most people are happy to buy beers or give me money , I prefer beers as it works out cheeper for them.

This sister is another one that'll come calling for advice, but it just goes in one ear and out the other.

By the way, meet Sporks brother

All we need now is a Knoon:D

@chudley: My brother John remodels houses or builds them from the ground up. When he has problems with plumbing he asks his friend Rick (who basically has a monopoly in Susanville, CA, he's that damn good...) to help him out, to which Rick's payment requirement is usually a twelve-pack of Heineken. Of course Rick's wife was severely p!$$ed off when she found out...:D

It`s funny how some `other halfs` are like that about some things.

When my dad was alive, he used to do the mechanic thing with cars. If he knew them really well he`d charge them for the parts alone, and a small amount if it was some1 he didn`t know. My mom used to keep on at him. I guess if it`s one or two it`s alright, but if u`r involved with atleast something all year around it looks different.

hehe

Just fixed a man's computer today and made an easy 40 bucks. You help them once and they'll bring you in other people. I've already got the next person lined up lol
