Hi Guys,

we just got a new TV and i got some spare parts lying around here,
so i decided to build a nice little HTPC.

The parts i wanted to use are:
Intel Q6600
HD5770
700W bequiet PSU (overkill i know, but i got it here so why not..)

Im madly interested in the Prodigy case, so i definately want to use one of them!

Problem is: there seem to be only 2 ITX Boards with socket 775 and DDR3 Ram, both of them lacking PCIe.

Is it even possible to get what i want ?
I cant seem to find any other ITX boards with able to hold that kind of Hardware..

Found one, its a ZOTAC G41-ITX WiFi

Should be fine with the hardware you going to use with it :)

Yeah found that too, but..
it has DDR2 (minor issue)
it isnt available in Germany anywhere :( (goliath issue!)

I can find a Zotac GF9300-ITX on Amazon.de, it's also socket 775 and DDR2 with wifi and PCIe... it has a one to two month delivery time on it though.

These are speciality pieces mate, not being made anymore. The problem is that usually chipsets for 775 don't natively support DDR3 (I think only P35 and P45 could). Second-hand is your only option, or go with mATX format I'd say.. You can also get good money selling the parts you have, and buy a bundle with some nice power-saving dual core.

Yea.. might as well buy an ITX board on 1155 and an i3 for ~150€ instead of the mobo für the q6600 :D

Dunno.. what would you say about processor für HD movies ? Is the i3 even overkill for that?
