Is this a good combo

i need a good setup for gaming and a bit of video editing and wonted a high quality surround experience i was thinking of the ASUS Xonar D2X because it is capable of running 7.1 audio and the razer Tiamat.

would like to know your guys opinions.

Asus card is good but I personaly wouldn't go the razer, look at maybe some Klipsch or Sennheisers or OC3D's headset of 2011 the Steelseries 7H
