iphone 4S (are you disappointed?)

iPhone 4S black 32GB just arrived for me at work! It was supposed to go to my house, but the UPS guy noticed it was for me (I get lots of packages at work) so brought it to work instead. Too bad I won't be able to do anything with it until after 4pm today. Apart from two new breaks in the antenna and a lowered silent switch, the phone looks identical to my iPhone 4.

Siri and I have a date tonight.

I think I may end up getting one next month when I am due for an upgrade. Can't justify retail price on this.

Will do.

I wouldn't be able to justify the price either, especially with our plan costs. My wife for some reason isn't eligible until February. We both got our iPhone 4 at launch in June 2010.
 
Yeah I got my 4 @ launch too. They should definitely do something for the iPhone owners that buy new and let them upgrade @ discount pricing at the launch of each new iPhone. Show some love to us ya know?

Agreed. Besides, it locks you into another 2 year contract, so it only benefits the provider.
 
Just got my 4s today, LOVE IT!

Although I don't know how to access Siri (I hold down the home button but I just get voice control...). But it's soooooo much better than my 3gs! Absolutely love it.

Go to settings and find Siri tab, you have to turn it on.
 
Also from what I here Siri is still in beta. So don't expect it to be problem free. Although I would imagine the would have all the problems out by now cosidering the 3GS had it for a while.

Half mast for sure. Everything opens much faster than my 4. It's actually amazing how much more fluid everything is. I was expecting games to play better, but wasn't expecting the ui to be this improved. Camera speed is much improved too. Siri works really well, don't know how much I will end up using it though. It was down most of yesterday, but I did mess with it a little.

At first I wasn't sure if it only seemed faster so I compared it to my wife's phone. It wasn't all in my head. She really wants one now, but isn't eligible for upgrade yet.

Can you post up some pictures for us? I want to see some pix from the new camera. Shoot some pix of your puter.

Yea see, I already have an iPad 2 so I said to my self "self, why do you need another device that uses the same hardware but under clocked in your palm"' so I am sticking with 4 until 5.

I'm heading out soon to a benefit, but I'll try to snap some quick shots tonight.
 
Besides i'm going to be overclocking this bad boy soon anyways to the A4 speed of 1.2ghz or the speed the A4 was supposed to be at of 1ghz. Then my battery life in Real Racing 2 will go from 100% to 19% in less than 30 minutes lol. I can't imagine how much less you would be able to play Real Racing with that monster A5 chip.
