Internet Problem

Hey,

I have an internet problem

Windows Vista 32

conencted to my university halls internet

Vista says that I am connected

Cant get onto google or any other site it seems

But this one appears to be ok.

Sometimes I can access it others i cant

I was wandering if there is anything that I can do before ringing up and going over a script with someone on the other end of the telephone?

who is your uni with internet wise?

sometimes you have to disable auto proxy there should be some info on your uni halls notice board there was for me

also check with the IT team they will sort you out thats there job

mine was with gravaty they were awsome 40mb DL sometimes (4am lol),but yer noteify the IT team or check with the rest of your house mates if they have the same problem if they are then check other houses as that will narrow it down.

It was our halls inet down - not just me. It was strange that vista said i was connected to the internet, but i wasnt
