I was thinking about places to slam a radiator in a HAF X and...

Could you possible put an H100i in the front 5.25in bays of a HAF X? I thought it would be brilliant because it would be intaking fresh air, and that air would be immediately exhausted by 2 200mm fans at the top. Anyone ever do this? I might just try when I get my H100i...

This is brilliant! I once had to mount a H100 in a HAF X but because of the stupid way the fans are configured in it i couldn't figure out where to mount it so I ended up just sticking it in the roof as an exhaust and thus creating a negative air pressure in the case that will slowly suck in dust.

Thank you! I'll have to tell my friend I now have a way to get a positive air pressure in his case! :D

The only thing I can see becoming a problem is if the tubing is to short and it may not look all that great.

I think the tubing will stretch just far enough, it may be sitting on the end of the bays. Honestly it doesn't look much better on the top of the case... with the power of twist ties, we can do it! I won't be getting an H100i for a few months though.

This will be interesting. Have to make a model of the build before I get going and then there is the fact it's not my case I will be modding XD

But all the hot air from the rad will just blow onto the gpu anyway though...
No, the intake fans of a GPU are facing downward, the HAF X has the 5.25 bays end about midway through my GPU, the air probably will blow right over my GPU back plate.

you really cant stretch those tubes mate ... honestly
I don't think I will need too, and like I said if I can't fit it up front I will put it in the top of the case. This is just an idea I had.

Could anyone measure the approximate tube length on their H100i? ;D

im sure you wont put tension on the pipping im just concerned about damaging a nice rig :( you lose some of the length just coming out of the pump otherwise you could brake them, :( and we dont want that happening on your mobo
