As the title says for those of you thinking should I buy a Kraken X62 as Arnie would say Cmon Do It!
I can say that since I have installed mine I have noticed performance differences from my change over from the Corsair H110i GT, My system is cooler both at idle and under load by ten degrees c plus and my system is also quieter.
Now my issues I believe were software rather than hardware related with the Corsair but I'm glad of the switch.
That being said the NZXT isn't perfect the pump head feels a little flimsy where the infinity mirror section is but this may be more perception than reality, also if you have an NZXT usb hub at least the series one, the unit will not be found within CAM, I went through ages of frustration and hair pulling and thinking the unit might be broke when all I had to do was plug it into the motherboard direct.
Once that happened CAM found the unit straight away and then it's real easy to set your fan profiles and all the pretty lights and yes this thing looks lush in your system.
The other thing I REALLY like that NZXT does over Corsair is they give you everything in the box bar the fans to enable you to go push pull if you want the connectors are there and the screws, totally brilliant.
My system at idle is 32C and whisper quite and whilst playing Star Citizen it gets a tad noisier but I still can't hear it with open backed headphones it was 45-50C but mostly 45C verses 40-50C idle and going over 80C in SC with the Corsair
So am I happy with it YES should you yourself buy one even though they are more expensive than the competition IMHO YES I think you should, they look great and perform well
Thanks for reading Ex.
