One of the finishing panels will be black with chrome on like the back plates for the sound and video card. I prefer the one on there to flat. Just personal preference really man. That's why it has kinda stalled because I ran out of black plexi and needed some other supplies. Probably a good thing because I have been as sick as a dog. I think it was full blown flu I had, not a cold.
Postman is coming today. Hopefully with LEDs and a couple of other bits (more 3M tape as I am pretty much out of that) and then I can get to doing some more work.
Last night though I hooked up the speakers I will be using for this PC (Edifier snails)
Which look amazing next to the old Dell monitor. They tilt at exactly the same angle

These speakers are amazing because they have a subwoofer in the bottom
As well as a "dummy" reflex unit. So both sides of the bottom part have air shifting woofers. So I loaded up Daytona and god damn that Turtle Beach sounds incredible. I ended up sitting here with the attract mode running for about two hours. Then I decided to jump down onto the floor and have a "quick go" of Daytona. God damn I was rusty ! after about five races I finally started getting my drift distances correct and braking points and man before I knew it I was sliding around with reckless abandon

Then I set to unlocking the cars and again before I knew it I was clipping/bouncing off the Sonic wall* and getting incredible lap times on the oval.
* The only corner you need to brake for is the one with the picture of Sonic The Hedgehog on it, AKA the "Sonic wall". However, if you just clip the nose of your car on a certain part of the wall you skip off of it losing barely any speed and thus you can produce unbeatable lap times
I also had a quick flick though my game collection yesterday.
It's vast....
